A Weekend in Paris: Where Classic Landmarks Meet Legendary Dining
If you are looking to explore Paris in just a weekend, here’s how I made the most of my time, visiting the must-see attractions while enjoying a comfortable and affordable stay at Ibis Budget Paris La Villette 19th. #holidayvacation
🏛️ I started my day with a visit to Sacré-Coeur Basilica in Montmartre. Arriving early meant I could take in the breathtaking panoramic views of Paris without a lot of crowds. The basilica itself is stunning, and the climb up the hill is totally worth it. Don’t forget to explore the nearby Placa du Tertre, where local artists display their work and where you can grab a coffee in one of the charming cafés.

🍽️ For lunch, I stayed in Montmatre, enjoying a delicious, typical Parisian meal at a local café. Think croissants, quiche, or a fresh baguette sandwich! #deliciousfood #foodie
⛲️ After lunch, I headed to the Arc de Triomphe, one of Paris’ most iconic landmarks. After climbing the 284 steps (or taking the elevator), you are rewarded with incredible views of the Champs-Élysées and the city beyond. A must-see for history lovers and anyone who appreciates great views! #historicculture #view
🌃 No visit to Paris is complete without seeing the Eiffel Tower, and I saved it for sunset. If you want to go up to the tower, I highly recommend booking tickets in advance to avoid the long lines. The view of Paris at night is absolutely magical, and the tower sparking every hour on the hour is the perfect way to end the day. #eiffeltower #mustvisit
🍷 After a busy day of sightseeing, I had dinner at the iconic Bouillon Chartier, one of Paris’ most beloved restaurants. The atmosphere was lively and authentic, and the traditional French dishes - like escargots and boeuf bourguignon - were simply delicious. The price was incredible affordable for the quality of food! #localguides
