Dubai Desert Camp 🏜️⛺️🐫 Feel the comfortable journey of adventure atmosphere🥤
When I think of the desert, the images that come to my mind are endless sand dunes🏖️, the high temperature under the fierce sunlight☀️, and a camel team moving slowly in the distance🐫⋯That’s right! The desert camp I’m going to introduce this time, Al Khayma Camp, allows you to feel the charm and adventure atmosphere of the desert🪔, while allowing you to enjoy meticulous care, comfortable and clean tents with air conditioning and plenty of frozen soda🏕️, as well as a special BBQ buffet🍖 and camel riding experience, which is absolutely beyond my imagination!
We received a message from Dubai's famous desert camp via WhatsApp and gathered at the parking lot on the edge of the desert. The camp staff greeted us there at around 15:00. We got on their jeep🚙 and went deep into the desert. The buildings gradually faded away, replaced by endless sand dunes. After about 10 minutes of walking, the gate of the desert camp appeared in front of us~
The staff inside warmly welcomed us and took us to the "tent" where we would stay tonight. It was called a tent, but it was probably several hundred feet. It had electricity, lights💡, air conditioning, fans, an incubator (with a lot of frozen bottled water💧 and soda🥤), a big soft bed🛌, a table for dining, etc. The air conditioning was very strong, and the whole room cooled down immediately. The clean carpet also allowed us to sit on the floor naturally and enjoy the tranquility of the afternoon. The restroom is outside the tent, a large wooden building with a bathroom for showering🚿, which is also very clean~
As other guests checked in one after another, the camp staff took the initiative to take us to visit every corner of the camp, from the hand washing ceremony💦 and special snacks🥣 at the main gate, to the special tea grilled on site🍵, and then to the afternoon tea at the barbecue stall. They also took us to the camel gathering point not far from the main gate, where 2 people can ride on 1 camel and experience a 10-minute ride. It is very exciting. Remember to hold the handrail when the camel stands up and stops (≧∇≦)
There is also a large sand dune outside the camp, which can be climbed up by the ladder arranged by the camp, looking back at the entire camp and the sunset🌄, which is very memorable! It was like entering a movie scene and becoming one of the explorers. As the lights in the camp were turned on, dinner and performances began, including dance and fire performances. Everyone took dinner in an orderly manner, and the whole process was smooth and pleasant. After dinner, the camp staff also took us to a stargazing spot next to the camp, where a dedicated staff member accompanied us to use an astronomical telescope to observe and photograph the moon. They also made an appointment with every guest staying at the camp for a sunrise camel ride and breakfast the next morning. At night🌃, the temperature dropped a little, and the overall feeling in the tent was very comfortable, like a room in a luxury hotel, without the feeling of hardship.
The sunrise camel trip the next day was quite exciting. We watched the sun rise from the endless prairie (desert) like in The Lion King. The camels stopped at the viewing point, and the staff took great care to take photos of each of our guests (making everyone look very handsome)! Later, we took photos with the flag of the United Arab Emirates 🇦🇪 and enjoyed a hearty breakfast 🥞, which made us feel the most beautiful side of the desert. We were reluctant to leave when we took the camp’s jeep back to the parking lot!
