🇫🇮 Finland’s hotel made entirely of ice and snow|Full experience of five senses frozen food, accommodation and bar
.
//Following the glass house hotel I shared last time, the editor also stayed in an igloo that challenges the limits of the human body on the second night in Santa Claus Village. In addition to overnight accommodation, there are also a series of polar sensory challenges, and guests who successfully experience them will receive achievement certificates! //

❖ Accommodation information ❖
🏠Same as the Glass House Hotel introduced last time 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 & 𝗚𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗜𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗼𝘀 Group. ┊Click here for details and review of the experience of staying at the Glass House Hotel #In-depth tour of the happiest country🇫🇮Finland┊
🏠The igloo is rebuilt and carved every year, and the room temperature is about zero to five degrees. Recommended for one night only and not suitable for children under five years old.

❖ Check-in experience ❖
✍🏻Room equipment
↣ Bedroom
All the furniture in the room is made of ice and snow, including the bed frame (you can experience Yang Guo and his aunt's ice bed practice). The mattress and pillows are made of reindeer fur for extreme temperatures, and come with a fleece-lined sleeping bag. The staff recommends only wearing necessary base layers in your sleeping bag. Wearing a thick sweater will not keep you warm! Moreover, the walls and furniture of each room have unique ice sculpture art (the editor’s stay is already very low-key) ~
↣ Warm zone
If you really can't stand the cold in the middle of your sleep, you can go to the warming area. It has heating and normal beds, but just a simple youth hostel style decoration.
↣ toilet
The toilet is located outside the room and is shared with the other igloo residents. "Unfortunately" it is not made of ice and snow. The more troublesome thing is that you have to go to the sauna outside the igloo to take a bath, and there are time limits.
.
✍🏻Hotel service
↣ Aurora Alarm Clock
Like the Glass House, the hotel will alert guests in their room when an aurora appears. The difference is that in the igloo, a real person sounds the alarm clock, and the staff will personally go outside the room to notify you!
↣ 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹
The only electricity in the room was a light and a two-prong plug. Therefore, Morning call also involves the staff personally going to the room to bring hot berry juice to wake up the guests.
.
✍🏻Other services
Those who do not stay overnight in the igloo can purchase tickets to visit other areas in the hotel. The "𝟱 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗰𝗲" chosen by the editor includes a full set of sensory experiences:
↣ 𝗜𝗰𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁
The walls, tables, chairs, and cups and saucers of the restaurant are all made of ice. The restaurant only offers a three-course meal, with a choice of four main courses, including traditional Finnish ingredients such as elk and Arctic salmon. For detailed food reviews, please pay attention to the sharing later 🛎Turn on the little bell so you won’t miss it🛎.
↣ 𝗜𝗰𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗿
From colorful ice sculptures to Finnish spirits, you can enjoy the polar ice and snow bar culture that you won’t find anywhere else. After drinking, remember to throw the shot glass made of ice against the snow wall. It is part of the culture here to make the glass explode.
↣ 𝗜𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗹
The Ice and Snow Church is very popular, and every year many couples come to hold a "quick white wedding." In order to leave a little surprise for everyone, I won’t post the photos of the church, leaving them for you to discover on your own!

❖ Postscript ❖
//Igloo hotels are less common than glass houses (many places only allow short-term visits), so the editor specially came to northern Finland to experience it. Staying in a zero-degree room all night is really a physical challenge, and running during the day makes you even more tired, so I feel a sense of accomplishment when I get the certificate for a successful overnight stay! //
