A View of Qingdao, China from Xiaoyushan
I recommend Xiaoyushan in Qingdao, China!
Xiaoyushan is one of the best places to see the most beautiful views in Qingdao, China. It felt like a very exotic place!
The view of Qingdao's city from here was really pretty. The red roofs and beige bricks made it look like a European scene.
On the other side, there was also the beautiful sea of Qingdao. I highly recommend you visit this place. It opens early in the morning, so it's perfect for a morning walk.
If you travel to Qingdao, China, make sure to climb Xiaoyushan! The entrance is narrow and the viewing area is small, so I recommend going early in the morning when there are fewer people.
I visited the Qingdao Catholic Church.
I went to the famous Catholic Church in Qingdao ♥️
The Catholic Church is located on Zhongshan Road, where many major tourist attractions are concentrated, making it very accessible! 👍👍
Also, there are various restaurants and cafes near the Catholic Church, which is great. The popular Silver Fish Street among the MZ generation is also nearby, making it easy to walk around 💕
The interior of the Catholic Church is also open to the public, but we didn't go inside due to our schedule. If you have time, I recommend you to take a look inside!
A Place with a Stunning View in Qingdao
The best place to enjoy the view in Qingdao is Xiaoyushan Park! ⭐️
We went there early in the morning at 8:30 AM, and it was great because there weren't many people around! Although there is usually an entrance fee and you need to scan a QR code to enter, we got in for free! ❤️
The view of Qingdao from the Xiaoyushan Observatory was truly beautiful. The houses with red roofs and beige walls lined up made it feel like we were in Europe, not China. 👍
The view of the sea from Xiaoyushan was also stunning. The sunlight reflecting off the sea was absolutely legendary. You must visit! ♥️
A Stroll through Qingdao's May Fourth Square with the Sea Breeze
Today, I visited one of Qingdao's landmarks, May Fourth Square! 🌊 This place, where the sea meets the sky, perfectly blends the city's relaxed atmosphere with nature, making it truly charming. Sitting on a bench and gazing at the sea for a long time was such a blissful experience. 🦋
I especially loved the romantic atmosphere created by the beautiful architecture around the square and the sea breeze. It was a day where I could truly feel the unique charm of Qingdao.
It's a great place for a light stroll and perfect for taking photos! If you visit Qingdao, be sure to stop by. 📸💙
Dim sum lunch that you must eat when you go to China 🥟
#ChinaTravel #Qingdao #DimSumRestaurant
📍MinggaDimSum(铭家点心)
It's a dim sum restaurant in Qingdao. It's a chain, so there are many places, so you can go to the one that's closest to you during your schedule! It's usually located in a shopping mall~
There may be a waiting line at the Wanxiangqing branch!!
Atmosphere/Facilities: Clean, friendly, delicious, and the Japchae 🍝
Key Points:
☑️ Make sure to order iced milk tea
☑️ Try the gauze (pigeon)
I ordered everything like that and it came out to about 50,000 won
It's such a great deal 💖
Zhanqiao Pier... Qingdao.
The night view is great, and it's also nice to see it early in the morning.
Staying at a hotel nearby, the view of the pier from the window is exquisite.
It's really nice to take a walk around the area.
On the right side of the bridge, there's an area that looks like a rocky island where many people turn on their phone flashes at night and seem to be catching something. On the left side, there's a sandy beach where a lot of people play in the water.
In the morning, there are people who go boating and enjoy various other water sports.
The constant flow of people indicates that it must be a famous spot.
If you're nearby, try visiting twice, morning and evening... However, the peak summer season is too crowded.
Qingdao Olympic Center night view..
The night view of the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center is truly magnificent. The area around the sailing center is illuminated by dazzling lights that light up the night sky, and the yachts fluttering on the water create a shining spectacle.
The reflection of the buildings in the sea is stunning.
At night, the buildings put on a light show, and around that time, many tourists and Qingdao citizens come out to stroll or exercise in the night streets.
The promenade leading from the red symbol of Qingdao's May Fourth Square is a great place to walk while looking at the yachts by the sea, and there are decent restaurants in the nearby shopping malls, making it a nice place to wander around after dinner.
Zhanshan Temple... The central temple of Qingdao...
Located at the eastern end of Taiping Mountain Park in the mountainous area northeast of Zhongshan Park in Qingdao, it is next to the starting point of the cable car that goes up towards the TV tower.
It was established in 1934, and it is the most recently built among the Tiantai sect temples in China.
Inside the temple, there are Buddha statues with various rich expressions, and it is said that about 20 monks reside there.
The temple is very quiet and spacious, and many people come here to worship Bodhisattvas, making it the oldest and largest temple in Qingdao worth visiting and paying homage to.
Local area of Qingdao...behind Qingdao Cathedral...
#ChinaTravel #Qingdao #QingdaoLocalStreets
When you go to Qingdao, you will basically go to the cathedral, but people who are not interested in religion will just ignore it and go to the next destination,
but I highly recommend you go into the alley behind the cathedral.
That place is where the local architecture of Qingdao's old neighborhoods remains intact, so you can feel the appearance of China's modern history.
There are not many tourists, so you can look around leisurely, and sometimes you can come across a small cafe.
If you want to see the natural appearance of local people, don't just pass by the alleys of Qingdao..This is a hidden gem.
The reason I visited Qingdao is Xiaoyushan Park😍 Xiaoyushan
Qingdao is such a pretty place. It has such a beautiful view. It's also the reason I bought a plane ticket.
📍No.24 Fushan Slip Road, Shinan District, Qingdao 266003 China 小鱼山
In Qingdao, Xiaoyushan Park (小魚山公園) is one of the most accessible and pretty parks in the city.
When you look at Qingdao from here, you can see the blue sea and the old-fashioned German-style buildings. It's also called a little old Europe in China. :)
When I went up to the observation deck and looked down, the red roofs stood out even more, so I felt the charm of Qingdao a lot.✨
✔️Park entrance fee
❗️10 yuan per person, international student ID card holders get a discount.
✔️Opening hours
07:30 ~ 18:30
Shinhosan and Sinyosan are famous for their great views, but I recommend Sinyosan more ♥
Soeosan is closer to the sea and offers a beautiful view!
If you go to Qingdao, be sure to visit here!! 😍🧡😍🧡

Qingdao Travel: See the Real Residence of Qing Dynasty Scholar Kang Youwei
I happened to find an old house on the street and went in.
I found out that this house was the home of a scholar named Kang Youwei who was active from the late Qing Dynasty to the early Republic of China. The furniture that Kang Youwei used during his lifetime is on display, and various exhibits collected directly from each country and his achievements are collected.
I didn't know about Kang Youwei at the time, but I originally liked seeing houses and furniture that people in the past lived in, so it was interesting. It was like I was curious about the lives of people who lived in a different era than me..? This old house, which is full of traces of time, is said to be a AAA-level Chinese tourist attraction! I heard that China rates tourist attractions in this way. It was well-managed. Admission is free, so if you happen to go to Xiaoyushan, please visit on your way down :)

Xiaoyuchun, a seafood restaurant popular among Qingdao locals, where you can enjoy stir-fried clams
Qingdao is adjacent to the sea, so its seafood dishes are diverse and delicious. In particular, there are many seafood restaurants in Unso-ro Gourmet Street, and among them, I visited Soeo-chon. Stir-fried clams, which are said to be the most popular among locals, are a must! I also ordered fried rice to go with my favorite scallops. The salty stir-fried clams are amazing when paired with a cold beer🍺...!!! The portions are really large for each menu, so it's great value for money. There is a seafood tank in Soeo-chon, which is well managed, the seafood is fresh, and the staff is friendly. The restaurant is also small and comfortable, and it has a Korean menu, so I recommend visiting :)

Best value for money vacation, Kyoju Sheraton
This summer's first vacation spot is the Sheraton in Jiaozhou, outside of Qingdao.
This place is about an hour away from downtown Qingdao,
and is preparing to welcome tourists again as the airport moves here. There aren't many people, and it has indoor and outdoor pools, a gym, massage facilities, etc., so it's a great vacation spot in the city.
The best thing about this place is its amazing cost-effectiveness.
I used it during a promotion period,
but it cost less than a day's stay at a pension in Korea,
so I was able to eat dinner and breakfast for a family of four,
so I'm having a pretty satisfying vacation ^^

Paldaegwan Gogh Cafe with the concept of Gogh's paintings
The Gogh Cafe, located in Qingdao Badaguan Scenic Area, was a wonderful place with a European-style house and trees in a classical atmosphere.
Since it is located in a scenic area, the price of coffee was a bit expensive, but the quality of the coffee itself was decent, and especially the Gogh paintings placed here and there made the atmosphere of this place even better.
The night lighting is also quite pretty, so I recommend it to those planning a trip to Qingdao.

A local restaurant popular with locals, Ilil Dosak Myun (一一刀削面)
There are quite a few local franchise restaurants in Qingdao where I live. Among them, I would like to introduce a restaurant that is easy to eat and reasonably priced, Ilil Dosakmyeon.
Dosakmyeon means ‘knife noodles’ in Korean.
The noodles are made by quickly cutting a large ball of dough with a flat knife.
The store has an open kitchen, so you can see the process of making the food you are going to eat.
The prices are also very reasonable. The most expensive menu is around 25 yuan (about 5,000 won),
so it is not a burden on your wallet, and you can enjoy a hearty meal with fresh vegetables and noodles.
The photo is of the CMP branch across from Cheongyang Century Park.
There are also quite a few branches spread throughout Qingdao,
so just go to the one near you ^^
I personally recommend the seafood noodles that are full of seafood.

Shangri-La, a Qingdao hotel where you can have fun with your children
I am on vacation at Hotel Shangri-La, a 10-minute walk from Qingdao's new downtown area, May Fourth Square, for this Labor Day.
It feels like it was built a long time ago, but as expected from a traditional luxury hotel,
the staff's service mind is excellent,
and the facilities for children are well-equipped, so I am quite satisfied.
Although the sea view is obscured by the tall buildings,
the city view is good, and there is a large shopping mall right next door,
and a beach just a 10-minute walk away, so it is quite
satisfactory in many ways.
I think it is a pretty good choice for those who want a vacation and a trip to Qingdao at the same time, and those who are traveling with children.
Oh, and the light show on the buildings from 8 to 9 p.m. is quite spectacular, so you can watch it from the window, but if you go out to the beach, it will be a much better memory, so please take note.

Lu Xun Park, a place with a beautiful beach and pine forest
Lu Xun Park is a park located on the coast of Qingdao. It is a wonderful place with a wide open sea and a cool pine forest.
In fact, most major cities in China have a park in honor of Lu Xun, a great Chinese writer.
This is the only one with an ocean view.
It is a great place to take a walk along the coast, or to go on a date with your lover.
It is also a great place for a family picnic.
It is not as large as other parks,
but it is highly recommended.

Stroll through Qingdao's old city center, where traces of German rule still remain.
The Qingdao Old Town, where Qingdao tourist spots such as the scaffolding bridge, Catholic Church, Signal Mountain Park, and the guest house are all located,
still retains traces of the German occupation,
making it feel like you are in China or a German city.
When Germany ruled this place, all Western powers were obsessed with expanding their imperialism against the world,
and Germany was able to defeat thousands of Qing troops with only 600 soldiers.
The Qing Dynasty was so rotten at the time that even the commander of the area at the time did not know that Germany had invaded and was absorbed in mahjong.
Anyway..so this place was an autonomous German territory for 99 years,
and many people do not know that the name Qingdao was given by the German Emperor Wilhelm II.
However, they ended up handing this place over to Japan after World War I. Germany, which ruled this place for less than 20 years, put a lot of effort into making it a bridgehead for advancing into the Pacific. Even now, buildings built at that time are used all over Qingdao, with only some facilities being modernized, and they have also become tourist attractions.
When walking around here, rather than just seeing it as a photo spot,
I think it would be much more interesting if you study a little bit about modern East Asian history. ^^

Qingdao Seafood Restaurant, Shuangheyuan
Chinese people do not enjoy eating raw seafood like Koreans.
However, they also like cooked seafood quite a bit..
Today, I visited a seafood franchise restaurant, Shuangheyuan, in the coastal city of Qingdao.
Shuangheyuan is a restaurant franchise that has a branch in Liuting Airport,
and is quite famous in this area.
It has clean and friendly service, and most of all, no matter what you order,
it is a place where you can hardly fail.
The most famous thing here is the seafood dumplings,
and among them, the shrimp dumplings are especially popular.
And what I ate today was also the shrimp dumplings..
The chewy dumpling skin and the chewy shrimp meat are all in it,
and the taste is beyond words, and there is also an off-type kitchen and a popcorn bar where you can get cola and popcorn at any time,
so I visit quite often.
There are several places in Qingdao City.
The photo was taken today at the Qingyang Zhongchengqing branch.
It is a good place to refer to when traveling to Qingdao.

A place that gets even hotter at night, Jiajiayuan Night Market
📍Location: Shandong Province-Qingdao City-Chengyang District-Zhengyang Middle Road 136
There is a place in Qingdao's Korean Village, Chengyang, that is even more lively at night.
When the sun sets, there is a fairly large night market that is so crowded that the surrounding traffic is congested.
The street right in front of Zhajiayuan is right there.
Not only traditional foods such as grilled cold noodles, tofu, and tanghulu,
but also various grilled seafood, fancy shops, and accessory shops, as is typical of Qingdao,
It literally feels like the area is packed.
This is a night market that is mainly for locals rather than tourists,
and the age groups that visit this place are all over the place.
For those who want to enjoy the local night market atmosphere,
I highly recommend this place.

Qingdao's best pork soup restaurant, Mom's Sundae Soup
Qingdao Chengyang District is called Incheon City Chengdo District because it is a place where many Koreans live. There are many Korean restaurants as well.
And the restaurant I will introduce today is..
A Busan man who is serious about pig soup acknowledges this place
Mom's Sundae Gukbap.
The owner of the store is a Korean-Chinese, but he learned it properly in Korea
and you can taste better quality soup than most Korean soup restaurants.
There are two stores in total in Chengyang, Beitan and Jeongyangru
(The photo is the second store I visited today)
The price is also reasonable, around 6,000-7,000 won..
However, since the sundae soup uses glutinous rice sundae instead of dangmyeon sundae like in Korea, I recommend pig soup over sundae soup.

Qingdao's best Peking duck restaurant, Huangchengjin (皇城根)🍗
Hwang Seong-geun is a franchise restaurant specializing in Peking duck, just like Jinchu-deok, and is located all over Qingdao.
However, even within the same franchise, the taste differs slightly from store to store.
The place I visited is located in a shopping mall near the Huangdao Sheraton,
and I remember that it wasn't as delicious as this one, although I've had Peking duck in Beijing.
The chef spreads the skin of the carefully roasted duck,
and when you pick up a piece of the skin that just came out,
and dip it lightly in sugar without any other seasoning or side dish,
the tremendous flavor and fatty taste surrounds your mouth and just melts.
Also, the interior is old-fashioned yet modern, and it has a luxurious feel that makes it a good place to go with family or friends.
As someone who has eaten duck, I highly recommend this restaurant!
The address is below, just show it to the taxi driver.

Peking duck, a great value restaurant, Shang Yi Ge
Beijing Kaoya (Peking Duck) is also quite expensive in China,
as its name value is..
This restaurant near the Olympic Yachting Center in Qingdao New City is famous for its excellent cost-effectiveness.
Usually, Peking duck is characterized by its skin, and after you taste the fantastic taste of the first few pieces,
you soon feel greasy, and the meat and boney parts are usually served in soup or fried form, but those parts are not often eaten..
This restaurant is well-organized so that you can taste all the parts in a casual manner, and the price is cheap, so it is quite recommended.
However, the restaurant is so small that there are only a few tables,
and it is a pity that you have to wait in line because they do not accept reservations,
but if you want to satisfy everything, you have to go to an expensive restaurant ^^
Still, if you see the price and taste, it is understandable,
so if you have the chance, please stop by..

Qingdao's local grilled fish restaurant
Anyone can walk around in slippers
I think you probably know a few neighborhood restaurants
that I'm going to introduce to you now.
The restaurant I'm going to introduce to you is also a small place located between apartment complexes.
Those who have lived in China for a long time probably know
but there are probably not many who can deny that Kao Wei is a food that suits the taste of Koreans better than Kao Ya (Peking Duck).
The main menu of this restaurant is also 'Kao Wei'
Kao Wei is a dish made by catching live fish, grilling it, and then stewing it in a spicy sauce.
One of these is enough to feed two or three people and is also plentiful as a side dish.
The location of the photo song restaurant is in Qingdao Chengyang Shengqiao Weishi Commercial Street
and the overall atmosphere is Soso, as it was taken today.
For two people, it costs about 100 yuan per person, and you can get Kao Wei + a simple drink
If the soup keeps boiling, it will be salty, so add vegetables or
The point is to eat it as quickly as possible ㅋ

Fantastic night view spot, Qingdao Intercontinental Buffet
Intercontinental buffet located on the beach of Qingdao.
I've been here with my friends quite a few times,
and the steaks grilled on the spot and the special seafood (prawns, lobster, or crab) provided per person each day
show pretty good quality.
The absolute number of food options is a bit smaller than other 5-star hotels,
but the food options are not just filling the options, but are mostly edible,
and what this place is especially famous for is the amazing night view.
When the evening comes, the colorful lights of the buildings and the sea come together outside the large window, creating a spectacular view.
Therefore, the competition for window seats is fierce, so I recommend making a reservation in advance or going early.
By the way, Chinese hotel buffets also offer free drinks, so enjoy them to your heart's content.

Qingdao's largest amusement park, Fantawild Dreamland
A place you can't miss when enjoying Qingdao 100 times.
The land of dreams and hopes is Disney,
but the best amusement park in this area is Fantawild Dreamland.
Actually, when I first set foot here, I didn't have any expectations,
but it was better than I thought, and I think it's a place that can be said to be the best value for money.
Although you can't find Disney-like characters or special effects,
it's true to the basics.. Moreover, the price is less than half of Disney,
so it's a place where you can have fun with children or a lover.
