Princess Mansion Park

Princess Mansion Park is located to the northwest of Hohhot Station. To the east is the railway residential area, to the west is the Tongdao North Road interchange, and to the north is Hailaer Avenue. The park is divided into two sections, east and west, by the Harachin River, serving as a cultural and recreational park for the local community.
As of January 2021, the park covers a total area of approximately 10.77 hectares, with the western section occupying 9 hectares and the eastern section 1.77 hectares. The green coverage rate is 74%. Within the park, there are 34 species of trees and shrubs, including over 1,400 coniferous trees, 4,300 broad-leaved trees, and 1,900 flowering shrubs.
The park also houses the Princess Mansion of Gulong Pavilion. This mansion consists of five courtyards, including the outer hall, main hall, and inner garden. In front of the main gate is a carved wall, and to the east are artificial mountains and ponds. According to the 'Princess Mansion Chronicles,' this mansion was home to Princess Zhengyi, the fourth daughter of Emperor Shunzhi, the great-granddaughter of Prince Dorgon, and Princess Gulong Pavilion, the sixth daughter of Emperor Kangxi.
