[Fukushima] Let's go here for the New Year holidays! This is truly a silvery white world
Highly recommended for the coming season!! Aizu's "Ouchi-juku" is a very beautiful spot, so I'd like to introduce it to you!!
Ouchi-juku, with its rows of thatched roofs, is a place that shows different faces throughout the year🦋In particular, the snow in winter makes you feel like you've entered another world🧚♂️After the shop closes, the snow muffles all the noise and it's quiet⏱The shop is open during the day, so it's very lively and I recommend the specialty "Negi Soba"✨It's called Negi Soba because you eat the soba with a whole leek💡⠜Please come and experience another world- ̗̀ ☺︎☺︎☺︎ ̖́-

[A waterfall right in front of you!] An inn with a spectacular hot spring in Aizu
#FuriTabiWinter
Fukushima Prefecture Aizu Higashiyama Onsen "Shosuke no Yado Takinoyu" 🗺️ 108 Takinoyu, Yumoto, Higashiyama-cho, Aizuwakamatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture Founded 150 years ago! The hot springs have been flowing for 1,300 years! ! 👍Point① About the interior ••• The renovated building has a very nice atmosphere with calm lighting. 👍Point② The best location ••• You can see the waterfall from the room and the open-air bath, which is really relaxing. 👍Point③ About the food ••• There are many ingredients and menus unique to Aizu. It is unique to the inland area of Tohoku, and the taste is a little strong, but I was very satisfied with the wagyu beef, sashimi, and local cuisine both in the evening and in the morning. 👍Point④ When you check in, you will be served Aizu Japanese sweets and authentic matcha. It's so relaxing 👍Point⑤ There is a bottle of wine in the room, which you can drink for free, 👍Point⑥ There is a sake tasting corner, which is irresistible for alcohol lovers! I was given three coins when I checked in, so I tried three cups! 👍Point ⑦ I wondered what the spectacular Noh stage was for? Then at 9pm, the projection mapping started! 👍Point ⑧ Negative points ••• They seemed short-staffed at dinner time. ..#AizuTrip #Aizu #AizuHigashiyamaOnsen #HotSpring #0YenTrip #AizuWakamatsu #WinterTrip

"Agaransho" buffet restaurant in Aizuwakamatsu, Fukushima Prefecture
𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃
Tohoku Shrine Trip⛩ 2 nights, 3 days
We stayed at "Onjuku Touhou" in Higashiyama Onsen♨️
We had dinner at this💁♀️ buffet.
The accommodation and food🍽 were highly rated, so we were really looking forward to it!
When we actually tried dinner there, we found that the restaurant was lively and had a live kitchen.
They also had a good selection of local cuisine, and the food that you can only get here will be a memorable part of your trip😊🎶
Although there were quite a lot of people using the restaurant, the buffet space wasn't crowded, so it was nice to be able to eat at a leisurely pace.

Aizu Sazaedo 🥹 A unique wooden structure that can only be seen here❣️
This time we will introduce the Aizu Sazaedo in Fukushima Prefecture.
The Aizu Sazaedo is a 16.5m-tall hexagonal three-story hall built in 1796 on Iimoriyama in Aizuwakamatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture.
It is the only wooden building in the world with a double helix structure, and is a rare structure, so it was designated an Important Cultural Property of Japan in 1996, and the unique spiral staircase is a must-see😊
Inside, the statues of the 33 Kannon Bodhisattvas of the Western Provinces are enshrined along the double helix slope, and it was said that by visiting this hall, you can make a pilgrimage to all 33 Kannon Bodhisattvas.

There are three baths in total 🫧 The open-air bath in the sky is a little far away, but it's worth the effort 🙆

A beautiful garden known for its medicinal plants
This garden can be reached by bus called Haikara-san from Aizuwakamatsu Station. Inside is a large, beautifully maintained Japanese garden where you can stroll and enjoy the flowers of the four seasons. Cherry blossoms bloom in spring.
There are also ducks and carp in the pond.
There is also a teahouse, so it is recommended to enjoy tea there.

[Fukushima] "Misawaya" - soba noodles served with spring onions instead of chopsticks
Speaking of Ouchijuku, it's Negi Soba!
There are several restaurants in Ouchijuku where you can get Negi Soba, but since I was there, I went to Misawaya, the restaurant where Negi Soba originated😆❣️
The atmosphere is very nice, with a thatched roof building, a spacious tatami room, and a hearth in the center of the restaurant.
Of course, I ordered the specialty Takato Soba (Negi Soba).
You eat it with a single scallion instead of chopsticks, but it's quite a difficult task to hook the noodles on the white part under the scallion and eat it.
Sometimes I bite into the scallion instead of a condiment.
I'm amazed that someone came up with this idea...lol
It's interesting and tastes good, so if you come to Ouchijuku, please try it♫However, please be aware that there will be a long wait during busy periods!

Ouchijuku, a place that still retains the atmosphere of the Edo period
This is a place that flourished as a post town during the Edo period, and the buildings are preserved here. The rows of thatched-roof houses give the impression of having traveled back in time to the Edo period.
The nearest station is Yunokami Onsen Station on the Aizu Railway, but it is still a bit far from there, so it is best to take a bus tour or something similar.
There are also several restaurants, and you can try Negi Soba, a specialty of the area, where you can scoop up soba noodles with green onions.

A museum where a samurai residence is recreated
This is a museum that recreates the buildings and appearance of samurai residences.
You can see how samurai residences are made, and daily life in a samurai home is recreated using mannequins.
There is also an exhibition room related to history inside.
This is a recommended spot for those interested in history and samurai residences.

Aizuwakamatsu Castle, Tsuruga Castle
This is a beautiful white castle in Aizuwakamatsu. Some very large stones are used in the stone walls.
Inside, there are exhibits about the history of the castle and the people associated with it. You can also get a panoramic view of the town of Aizuwakamatsu from the observation deck.
At the base of the castle, there is a large garden that looks like a great place for a stroll. There are also stalls set up.
