Sekinchan is indeed famous for its wide expanse of rice fields, as far as the eye can see. For city dwellers especially, the soothing sight of paddy fields will definitely make you feel excited. This is the time to let the children know what a paddy plant looks like that produces rice. It is recommended to come in the season of ripe rice. At that time, the whole paddy field looked yellow like gold glittering in the sunlight. Definitely a different experience than others. Paddy fields in Sekinchan is grown twice a year, from March to June, and from September to December. Tegalalang known with a lots of tourist spot that can be visited all year. We went to Bali for 4D3N vacation and has visit the paddy field that was located on a steep mountain where is was operated by the locals. The area is so fresh and clean. Lots of tourist came for the sightseeing and enjoy the Indonesian culture from foods, lifestyle, culture and their beautiful landscape. It’s about an hour of driving from Kuta and we can see the village and their woof-crafted area along they way from Kuta to Tegalalang. It’s a joy to see how they manage to turned their nature into a very beautiful places. Recommended to visit Tegalalang on from September to March since the paddy will blooming. Unfortunately we came on December during the monsoon season and the track may a bit slippery and muddy along the terrace. Sekichan is a small town located in Selangor and approximately 90 mins drive from Kuala Lumpur city center. It is famous for paddy fields and major rice producing areas. While in this small town, be sure to buy some home grown rice. Places to visit includes the beach for kite flying and also the good luck wishing giant tree next to the beach. A cafe by the paddy field called Hay! Is also a must visit while there to enjoy a great cup of coffee and some desserts while overlooking the stress free rice fields. If you travel to perlis, there're a lots of local stall or even a restaurant located nearby paddy field. I'm so lucky my last trip to perlis during cool season. Its because the changes in the northeast to southwest monsoon that bring cool winds from the north. So the temperature will drop, in the same time the rice granary is greening. This is the best staycation I had this year and can’t recommend it enough to anyone who wants to escape from the city for some time! Zhinan is located in the mountains of Lin’an county, part of Hangzhou city. I happened to go there for a weekend during fall and it was much better than what we expected with my friend. This village is so peaceful with epic views on the mountains and paddy fields. Most buildings are guest houses with restaurants whilst others are mostly shops selling local specialities. We stayed at a guesthouse for two nights. Everyone was so friendly there! Every corner was beautiful and the views are so soothing! Hi guys. When you’re in Perlis don’t forget to visit this hill called Bukit Keteri in Perlis. Situated at Kampung Bukit Keteri in Kangar, Perlis Indera Kayangan, Malaysia. Bukit Keteri is an outcrop of limestone that stands tall amongst the greenery view of paddy fields and natural beauty of the flat lands. A short walk around 15 minutes through the paddy fields to the foot hill. The limestone facets of the climb is quite straight forward and it takes a few hours to complete the ascent. There's a big beautiful cave with painting at the wall that you can explore. From Bukit Keteri peak you can see the surrounding flat lands and sunset panoramic hours is the best time for an unparalleled view.
