Within the walls of the exclusive Anantara Resort on the Desaru Coast, you can find a cosy spa for a good time of relaxation. It has a wooden entrance and its interiors are designed to pay tribute to the traditional houses built in this part of the country. They have many types of massages to choose from, but the most popular one is the Thai and aromatherapy massages. You can to choose your preferred essential oil scent as well. The staff were very polite and friendly, helping us find available slots as many of them clashed with our schedule. As a guest at this lovely resort, you can make a reservation with the front desk to join this nature trail for free. A local guide will bring you around the huge resort to learn about the native trees, flowers and plants grown in its surroundings. The guide we had that day grew up in Desaru itself, so she was very knowledgeable about the land. She even told us folk tales about what the locals used to believe about the flora and fauna, very interesting! Desaru coast is a short hop away from Singapore so it makes for a perfect weekend getaway holiday! One of the awesome things about the Anantara Resort here is the sumptuous breakfast buffet. It is an incredible spread, from western to Asian to Indian cuisine, very decent selection indeed. There are even donuts and a live eggs station with an interesting rotating egg menu each day! The Westin hotel and resort is located on the coast of Desaru in Malaysia. It is a short ferry ride away from Singapore and has very nice beaches. This resort in particular has easy beach access but if you prefer to hang out by the pool, they also have a huge one in the centre of the property! The reception staff were very helpful and the rooms here are comfortable. It can be a little pricey though. When we stayed at Anantara Resort at Desaru, we were blown away by how big the main pool was! Not only were there fountains that can give you a back massage, there were also hanging daybeds and an attached kids pool! You can also order drinks, tipples and bar snacks by the pool easily as the staff are always checking on guests. There are plenty of sun loungers around the pool as well so you never have to worry about coming early to reserve a spot, you’ll definitely get one! There is an al fresco dining where you get the view of the peaceful sea and the blue skies. The interior of the cafe is also giving out a beach vibe to match the seaside scenery so that customers would feel as if they are actually on the beach. We ordered the lobster roll, halo salmon, creme brulee, lychee oolong, iced chocolate mint and all were so good! Worth a trip down to sip, eat And enjoy the seaside View!

Desaru Seafood Corner served fresh seafood and we spent RM270 for crab, prawns, cockles, tom yum soup, kangkong and tofu. The restaurant is brightly lit, clean and spacious. The highlights here had to be the huge mud crabs, lobsters, and freshwater prawns. Overall, we really enjoyed our dinner here at Desaru Seafood Corner. The seafood was cooked to perfection and we thought all of the dishes we ordered were stellar.

We went to the watersports center at Tunamaya Resort and got a watersports package to do parasailing, family donut, banana boat and band wagon ride. Each ride takes about 15 mins. Hence we enjoyed over an hour of pure adrenaline-fueled fun at sea! The staff were great & attentive & we felt safe while doing the water activities.

All rooms has Beach views. It’s a 3 mins walk to beach. The beach is nice, very clean and quiet. The swimming pool has alot of sand which is pretty normal since its just beside the beach but they do clean it daily. Staff was kind and helpful, all of our requests were properly and timely handled. There is a lot of dining options within 5-10 mins drive. Breakfast was average, simple food like bread, nasi lemak, nasi goreng, mee hoon goreng, porridge, noodles, egg stations and fruits which is sufficient for me. Spa was OK. Make reservation early. Cost RM190 for 60 mins for traditional massage.

We arrived in Singapore that day already around 8pm, after exiting the airport's Terminal 4 gate (only 1 very conspicuous) ate a delicious bak kut teh restaurant, you can add unlimited bak kut broth, suggested Everyone can go and have a meal before leaving the airport. Because we didn’t want to waste time staying in a hotel at the airport, we drove straight into Mara directly after dinner. Since the flow of people was even less in the evening than during the day, our song scene was very smooth, just sit in the cab and have your Passport ready, which will be checked by the immigration officer at the time of transit. Warm reminder, everyone during the Lunar New Year, or big holidays this way to cross the border to Singapore is very crowded. Stay in a deluxe sea view corner room (538sq ft), the terrace is quite wide to see the endless gardens and sea views, there is also a double large swing sofa, dining table, next to the slender corridor is private access. It took us 3 hours to play 9 holes for newbies, the administrators of the venue will make arrangements according to your speed. The cost of renting the venue does not include renting a set of golf clubs, plus you will need to pay or bring your own golf. It is a pretty good experience for newbies who have never tried golf. Also it will be more convenient for those with a driver’s license as there is a free use of a golf cart to commute to the venue. The scenery inside the golf course was really beautiful, we saw swans on the lake and brightly colored and rare birds in the woods next to it, the environment was very beautiful and serene. But if you are afraid of the sun, heat or mosquitoes, you must take precautions.
