#halloween2023 Every year on Halloween night, people from all over Singapore would gather in the Woodgrove neighbourhood to have fun. It is the only time I feel like I am in Disneyland in Singapore seeing everyone dressed up, little kids or big kids. All are welcome. This tradition started because of the Singapore American School that is located in the woodgrove estate. So people in the neighbourhood started trick or treat giving sweets like the tradition. Slowly it picked up and more and more people started coming. Anyone can dress up in what they like, they photos with each other and admission is free!

My favorite Halloween event this year was at Universal Studios Japan in Osaka. It was a good idea to go for two days because there was SO much happening in the park. I never once felt bored during my experience. Once I got off the shinkansen from Tokyo, I immediately made a beeline to USJ. During the day, I watched the Pokemon parade and took a picture with my favorite Pokemon: Gengar. From there, I used my express passes to check out some of the Halloween houses, with Biohazard being reserved for the evening. Once evening hit, Hami-Kuma and his zombie crew lit up the night to terrify guests and dance to Ado's catchy hit, "Show." I got scared many times and loved every second of it. It was Halloween when we were there, and every bar was all decked up in Halloween costumes and decorations! What a sight to behold! Calling all cookie lovers! There is a quaint little cookie stall located at Ngee Ann City shopping centre that sells yummy handmade cookies. They were running a Halloween promotion where you can opt to have your cookie order placed in super cute Halloween-themed containers and bags! This is perfect if you are planning for party favours and trick-or-treat goodies. There are always about 7 to 8 different flavours on display at the shop. My favourite that I highly recommend is the Belgian chocolate chip one, highly addictive. These cookies are on the buttery softer side that melt in your mouth, so it’s probably not for those who prefer more crunch to their cookies. The owners are super nice too and you can ask them for samples if you can’t decide which flavour is best for you! First time celebrating Halloween in Japan. Went there a few times already but it feels different to experience spooky night at theme parks. Fengdu Ghost city is one of Chinas most popular attractions. I deliberately visited on a rainy day to avoid the crowds, and the rain actually added to the exciting atmosphere of the place! The temple complex is rather interesting and slightly different to other complexes in China due to its colours and art works. It’s definitely worth a visit if you are in Chongqing. We had a fun and fulfilling evening at Admiralty Halloween Night 2023! This annual Halloween event is organised by Admiralty Youth Network at Ace The Place Community Centre on 5 Nov 2023. In Singapore and many other places around the world, Halloween is not really regarded as a religious celebration but rather an occasion for children and adults alike to have fun by dressing up, trick or treating, and spending quality time with friends and family. It was our first time joining the Halloween event at Ace The Place CC and we were overwhelmed by the crowd the moment we arrived. Queues and waiting time were inevitable. We got our tickets online at $6 each and had to redeem the physical tickets at the site. The tickets allowed us to collect goodie bags, exchange for food and drinks, and join the games and activities with the vouchers. The highlight of the event was the haunted house. I went to Tokyo Disneysea in end October for their Halloween Trick or Trick event.. Why do I choose Disneysea over Disneyland? Well, cos of this - they had a special that adults were also allowed to dress up as characters or princesses for Halloween! So I thought ... why not? I've known that Japanese love their disney resorts alot and with this exception of being able to dress up, it would definitely be a feat. Plus yes everyone knows that Disney always go big on their decors... True to behold, it was truly a magnificent crowd at its entrance at 9am. Many adults came dressed up as their fav characters and princesses as well as some in Anime characters. And their Halloween special parade boat and the Trick or treat dance. Woah! I could totally feel the energy of the Disney crews as they tried to hype the crowd up with the dance. Now tha Disneysea Halloween event is over. Fret not, there is still the Tokyo Disney 40th Anniversary themed event and parade ongoing which will equally keep you in awe as well. Especially the show at 730pm at Mediterranean Harbour. Please please please by all means and ways make it there by 6.30pm -7pm to have a good seating/ standing spot. The charades of boats, the lightshow projected and the characters --- only 1 word : MAGNIFIQUE IT IS DEFINITELY WELL WORTH SPENDING 30MINS of your time watching it. Shanghai 🏙️ comes alive with inclusivity during Halloween 🎃. Saw the event on Instagram, and I decided to dressed as a witch🧙♀️this year!!!!! Getting There - We take the mrt to Harbourfront station, when you arrive VivoCity go to level 3 take Sentosa express or you can walk around 10-15mins to universal studio Singapore. Attractions - It’s quite cool and so much fun which including 5 immersive haunted houses, 3 terrifying scare zones and 2 hair-raising shows. I think the scare zones were so unique and totally scary!
