A Day In Peng Chau Island

My friend invited me to explore this bike-only island, accessible via a 30 minute ferry trip from Central Pier No. 7. We took pictures at the displays around the abandoned Leather Factory. We checked out shops and went near the beach. There's a temple at the shore. We ate lunch at a cha chaanteng that opened in 1970. After that, we hiked Finger Hill and saw Lamma Island from the peak. We also passed by the cemetery and some houses. As we waited for our ferry ride, we just ate ice cream near the pier. Overall, it was a relaxing experience. 🌋East Java is amazingly beautiful! 🇮🇩

I enjoyed every bit of this adventure - it was affordable, and the views were absolutely worth the hikes and early starts. Day 1: • Madakaripura Waterfall Stay: Bromo Terrace Hotel & Resto Eat: Bawangan Bromo Hotel & Resto Day 2: (started our day at 2.30am) • Sunrise point at King Kong Hill (only jeeps can access the roads there, and you get some cool pics as well) • Hike Mt. Bromo Stay: Urbanview B Syariah Lumajang Day 3: • Tumpaksewu Waterfall • Goa Tetes Cave Stay: ljen View Hotel & Resort Day 4: (started our day at 11.30pm the PREVIOUS day, slept at 6pm to make it to ljen before sunrise) • Hike Mt. Ijen - there's the option to hike down to see a naturally occuring blue fire, but there were too many people on that day, making the narrow path down quite dangerous. We opted to climb a little higher to catch the sunrise instead - it was so beautiful and serene with most of the crowd trying to catch the blue fire. #travel2024 #road_trip #bromo #indonesia #girltrip #asia #jetstar #singapore #volcano

#summerdestinations This summer, I had the pleasure of exploring the city center square in Poznan, and it was an experience to remember! The heart of the city is filled with life, color, and history. As I walked through the square, I couldn’t help but be captivated by the stunning Renaissance buildings, especially the beautiful Town Hall with its famous billy goats that butt heads at noon—definitely a must-see! The square was buzzing with energy, with street performers, cafes, and locals enjoying the sunny day. The atmosphere here is simply unbeatable. I paid a visit to the Town Hall museum, and for just 12 PLN, I got a glimpse into Poznan’s rich history. Afterward, I wandered around the square, discovering charming little shops and grabbing an ice cream at one of the local spots. The square is surrounded by so many interesting places to visit, like the Royal Castle and the National Museum, both just a short walk away. In the evening, the square becomes even more magical with beautiful lights illuminating the buildings. It’s the perfect spot to just sit down at one of the outdoor cafes, sip on a coffee or beer, and watch the world go by. Each Metro ticket cost 1.5 EUR for a ride with Metro and also a bus ride within 75 mins . If you’re going to a few attractions then I would suggest that to buy a day pass . It is because there is no cash payment on bus and not every bus has the payment device for credit card . Wetherby - Nice Town in Yorkshire

When in Yorkshire, a visit to the small town of Wetherby is a must. Cool medieval style buildings mixed in with modern buildings. Easy to get to by bus from Leeds, about a 25 to 30 minute trip. Some fantastic shops for shopping and food; a good fish and chips shop is called the Wetherby Whaler.
