Climbing up Nansha Tianhou Temple, visitors will be able to find the Nanling Tower, an eight floors building rises to a height of 45 meters. There are two historical purposes of building the tower, one is the height which balances Dajiao Mountain main peak, the other is about the saying"Left-cyan dragon". The tower is not only the navigation to the ships but the marker of Nansha Tianhou Temple when people overlook the palace from far. It was claimed that when the wind is coming, the 56 bell which hang at the corner of the tower, will tinkle through the palace. Once the tourists climb the top, it affords a fine view of Tianhou Temple

The Straw Shoe street(also known as Xiézǐ Jiē or 草鞋街) was an ancient street surrounding the ancient city wall in Zhaoqing, Guangdong known for its historic significance and cultural heritage.
According to the Records of Zhaoqing Government, it was originally built during Daoguang's reign (1821-1860)in Qing Dynasty. Up to now, it has a history of more than 150 years. It got such a name because most of the local people wove and sold straw sandals from Qing Dynasty to 1949.
The street is 300 meters long, with Xirenli Road to the west and Zhengdong Road to the east which also offers a glimpse into the traditional lifestyle and craftsmanship of the region, making it a popular destination for tourists and locals alike.
