Oldest church with a nice yard!
This is Lazi Church. One of the oldest churches in Siquijor Island, Philippines. We just had a quick visit since we were going home this day and we still had some itineraries to finish. I think, this church is impressive! It looks simple but beautiful. I love the lawn area it's pretty big. We decided not to get inside since my dress wasn't appropriate for it. It's just wonderful that we were able to stop by this church. We love it!

Mounting a Ping
You see this place in almost every HK promo video and is the very first attraction you come across when landing in HK international. Had no issues with purchasing tickets on the day and had a cabin to ourselves on the way up (Coming down was shared). The views from the cabin were spectacular and the photos didn't do it justice. The Ngong Ping village itself is filled with cafes and shops but at tourist prices. Tian Tan Buddha stairs aren't as challenging as they may seem and are also accessible inside which I was unaware of prior to visiting. Po Lin Monastery Temple caps the entire experience with good religious architecture. The Park Trails itself is quite vast and I would expect one to two days worth of hiking to cover most of it.

This place is one of the newest additions to the endless activities on offer in HK. There's the Palace Museum and M+ Art Museum that offers stunning displays. Then you can catch performances at Freespace theatre and also free shows at the Art Park. During my week in HK there was a show by 'Les Traceurs' on a Saturday. There's an abundance of great harbour view restaurants around the foreshore and some food stalls at the drop off pickup area. The open space is Ideal to spend the whole day at and is also perfect for picnics.

Peak-a-boo
It's never a proper Hong Kong vacation without stopping over at the Peak. My last visit was way back in 2016 and this time we decided to go during the early hours to escape the crowds. If you're looking for an alternate spot to the Observation Deck to take those Harbour pics. The Lions Pavillion located along the hike trails offers equally stunning vantage shots. But you must come early as the pavilion is quite small. Restaurants within the mall also serve up some breathtaking views.

Akti Imperial Hotel offers 4 swimming pool, ideal for families with small children and a tennis court. 🎾 There are several restaurants including Ala Carte - Different themed: Italian, Asian and Greek cuisine. We tried all of them, you need to book in advance to get a table as it gets very busy especially in the summer months.
We opted a deluxe room over looking to Mediterranean Sea 🌊 Akti Imperial benefits from located in the beach front. Guest rooms were nice, I would highly recommend you to stay higher floors, the view especially the sunset is stunning! 🌅 All rooms provided with kettle, private bathroom and free toiletries.
Families will enjoy stay here! There are live entertainment and shows every night, as well as barbecues in the garden.
We loved Greek theme with great local dancers and musicians on stage 🪕🎼🥁
Rhodes town only 4km away from the hotel and the Rhodes airport just 9km. ✈️

Sunset Ammoudi Restaurant is located Ammoudi Bay is a tiny fishing port down from 300 steps below the town of Oia. 🇬🇷 We walked down to downhill Ammoudi Bay and so worth it! The view is beautiful.. ( You can get a taxi )
We arrived for lunch and was seated on the seafront seat, the fresh sea air, the beauty of deep azure waters and the boats anchored nearby made for an memorable setting.
We ordered a nice bottle of white wine ( Greek ), a few starters to share with-Santorini’s Fava & Taramo salad arrived with freshly baked bread 🥖 the Greek Salad included cherry tomatoes and local cheese 🍅 🥗 🍋 ( Plentiful ) fried calamari, Sun dried Octopus 🐙
For main course we were invited inside to choose our own fish and loved the idea to try out daily fresh fish of the day as main course 🐟
All of the food was fabulous! The salad was freshly prepared and the fish we ordered big enough for two people to share, cooked to perfection and came with side vegetables 🥦 🥕 🥔
Our entire meal was excellent and staff members were engaging and came over several times if needed anything else! Definitely a meal to remember 🍽️👌

The Windmills of Santorini & History 🩵
There is historic importance of windmills in Santorini. Today just a few have been restored and some others have been transformed into inhabited houses or hotels while others still needs renovations.
Around 70 historic Windmills in Santorini, some long time ago abandoned in the island as well as the capital of Thira (Fira)
In our knowledge, the windmills were in use on Santorini as early as the 14th-century, however due to turbulent history (earthquakes and volcanic activity) none of these early settlement of structures remain standing to this day.
Although you’ll still find handful of windmills remain on the island-as I mentioned above the most of them since has been converted into hotels, accommodations and holiday rental homes. Today’s Santorini windmills that remains in the island were constructed from the 17th-century onwards, then converted dating from the 18th-century.

After Louvre museum, walk around in Champs-Elysees, lovely boutiques, trendy shops and restaurants. Are you getting tired after all walks? Take a break one of the patisseries/cafes near by Arch De Triomphe for people watching and enjoy delicious French delicacies with a hot drink ☕️
3 days in Paris was never enough for us to discover this amazing city, a few more places we managed to fit on our daily schedule : Notre Dame Cathedral, Marais, Montmartre and the Sacre-Coeur Basilica

The Hagia Sophia, or ‘Ayasofya’ in Turkish, one of the most famous century church later became mosque in Istanbul. This architectural beauty with 30 million gold tiles throughout its interior and flat dome which was a bold engineering feat at the time it was constructed in the 6th century.
Hagia Sophia should be on your bucket list place whenever you’re planning to visit Istanbul, it’s architecture continues to amaze with both its remarkable domed architecture and the amazing arts and mosaics inside.
We had a guided tour which was helpful to learn about the history, see old photos, and more insight of the architectural facts.

Previously a Viking fishing village, Copenhagen became Denmark’s most important and popular capital city.
Our very first day we visited the colourful harbour in the Nyhavn district, which is one of the city’s most photographed scenic spots, definitely you can’t missed this neighbourhood as it’s instantly recognisable for its vintage boats and rainbow coloured buildings with cafes, bars and restaurants.
The day start with a lovely breakfast and freshly baked Danish pastries 🥮 by night cool nightlife in Vesterbro to the green and chic boulevards in Frederiksberg. Charming Østerbro should be added to bucket list for its parks and shopping. The vintage townhouses and picturesque canals are if you’re after, you’ll find many of them in Christianshavn – a district made up of a small cluster of islands. A few places you’ll love visiting and seeing whilst in Copenhagen are; Changing of the guard at Amalienborg Palace, taking a selfie in front of The Little Mermaid statue, boat canal tours and a day in historic Tivoli gardens.

One of the best restaurants in Copenhagen I have ever dined in. Perfect dining experience in many ways; Warm and welcoming staff members and excellent quality of food. This place is very charming, set in two floors-ground floor and lower floor, cosy design, great atmosphere and the food is impeccable.
I first walked in, noticed that the kitchen is very efficient as the dishes kept coming out constantly. The food was delicious and I felt really full after the three courses with small bites, starters, main course and desserts with cocktails and a bottle of red wine 🍷 + .
As usual for Denmark, service was excellent, quick, friendly, polite and efficient. We ordered steak for main course which was done very well-rare to medium, afterwards we couldn’t help ourselves but try some lovely dessert, equally fantastic ✨
They have a solid wine list, we had good bottle of red wine called Octavin 👌

Once you dine here you’ll realise this place is like no other! The ambience and setting is unique and everything is decorated so beautifully. For Dinner we were greeted by two waiters by the entrance, there we were guided to the lush green sitting garden area of Mielcke & Hurtigkarl and served wonderful champagnes and small canapées. Afterwards we were invited to the this gorgeous and chic dinning area, and opted a testing menu paired with wines which was just perfect for us. Each course were artfully crafted, every drink and plate was individually explained by a professional and knowledgeable waiter/waitresses - As expected, there is an extensive wine and drink menu with expert recommendations from the staff. The service is impeccable and checked in on us regularly. 🍽️

I suggest you to explore the area by foot, on horseback or in a boat on the lake.

Our highlight was the heated rooftop swimming pool which was a bonus! The best view of iconic Tivoli gardens from the Terrace. Sauna is just next to the swimming pool so you can enjoy both.

We often spent some time for something to eat and drink at riverside Coppa Club which serves Mediterranean cuisine. You can hire all area for birthdays, weddings or honeymoon 💍
I loved my room with terrace and enjoyed unwind in private bath. Prices start from £184 for 2 ppl including breakfast. My recommendation is stay at river view room.

Bryggen Guldsmeden has a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and bar in Copenhagen. This 4 stars Hotel Bryggen Guldsmeden is ideally situated if anyone wants to explore Copenhagen.
We had a triple room and each room has city views rooms.
Breakfast was variety. Spacious and colourfully decorated.
There is also advantages being close to the airport, if you need to stopover and had to stay in the capital for a day or two!

Beautiful and spacious luxury cave hotel in the heart of historic town of Goreme, Cappadocia.
We woke up early in the morning to watch the magnificent hot air balloons taking off from the valleys, the best view was from Artemis Hotel’s terraces ( 3 lovely terraces decorated with traditional Turkish rugs and ornaments) You’ll feel like you’re in another world, enjoying this magical moments over the valleys and the balloons at sunrise.🎈
We stayed in garden room for 3ppl, it was very clean and spacious. Each room was simple but designed with sophisticated featuring both historic and modern ornaments. The cave rooms were original from different settlements from Hittites, Early Christians, Armenians, Greeks and finally Turks and later renovated keeping its rich heritage intact.

Novotel London Canary Wharf 39 story hotel overlooking to Thames River. This hotel is just minutes away walk from Canary Wharf underground station, easy to reach main attractions, malls and restaurants.
Rooms were nice, clean and modern. Take a lift to go up to roof terrace with 360 views across the London skyline, Novotel London Canary Wharf also has an on-site gym, pool and contemporary Bokan Bar serving delicious food and drink. Breakfast is served in the terrace which has a lovely view.
Recommended to book a higher rooms for the amazing Thames River sunset view and the iconic Shard across the water. 🌅

Rehydrate Yourself With The Sweet and Cold Shaved Bing Sutt
The cafe is called Cheung Chau Bing Sutt, located at 19C Pak She Praya Road. Many people were queueing for their turn as the cafe is not too big. They have indoor and outdoor seating you can choose. I tried Bailey and Thai milk tea flavor as I saw they were the recommended dish there.
Bailey smells really good (like true Bailey should be). The Thai milk tea also nice as you can taste the unique Thai tea flavor.
As sometimes the weather is still too hot, this cafe feels like an oasis for us. Do try if you are already in neighborhood as surely the quality can compete with the one in the city.
