We found the Lazy Cats cafe through google maps, and while the location isn't super ideal for parking, the overall ambiance and food were killer! The street it's on is lined with a ton of different restaurants and cafes but Lazy Cats is tucked away at the end on the second floor. The vibe was super chill, everything available in English, and drinks and food were awesome! I got cinnamon roll French toast sticks... KILLER! As well as a watermelon mint juice to top it off. They even offer Lazy Cats merch and coffee that you can buy while you're there! Lempuyang Temple's Gates of Heaven - Karangasem, Indonesia! The temple is famous for its iconic split gate entrance, known as the 'Gates of Heaven.' The gates offer a mesmerizing panoramic view of Mount Agung, Bali's highest and most sacred volcano, creating a picture-perfect setting for visitors and photographers. This temple is not only one of Bali’s most treasured Instagram photo spots, but it is also considered one of the island’s oldest and most sacred temples. The gates are undeniably impressive, and the lines of people stunned us. We waited for at least 2 hours for our chance to reach the gates. The dreamy aesthetics are created using photo trickery with a mirror to get that epic reflection shot. There is a whole team at work, which we guess is necessary to manage that many people. 💡 The best time to visit the place is early in the morning, just before sunrise when the temple is less crowded. Lempuyang Temple - Karangasem, Indonesia! It is one of Bali’s oldest and most highly regarded temples located on the slope of Mount Lempuyang. It is also believed to predate the majority of Hindu temples on the island. The temple complex is considered to be one of the six holiest worshipped places in Bali. The temple is probably one of the most photographed temples in Bali, one spot in particular: The Gateway To Heaven. The temple remains pretty quiet if you get there by stunning sunrise any time of year. Tirta Gangga Water Palace - Karangasem, Indonesia! Also known as Bali's Water Palace, it is one of the heritage sites of Karangasem Kingdom. It is one of the most favourite places by tourists for its greatness of building architecture. Its main attractions are great ponds, crossing the trail of stepping stones over the pond, feeding the koi fish that swim beneath, unique statues, and impressive green garden. The palace was built in 1946 by Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem. Its complex was almost destroyed in 1963 because of the eruption of Agung Mount. Then, the destroyed area was rehabilitated in 1979, particularly on the water garden and others. Name of Tirta Gangga comes from the word “Tirta” means “holy water” and “Gangga” means “name of a holy river in India”. 💡 It opens from 08.00 to 18.00. Arrive early in the morning for a place with a quieter situation and the freedom of taking photos in a good angle.The entrance fee is IDR 25.000 per person for domestic visitors and IDR 40.000 per person for foreigners. #familytrips2024 As the whole of our family are coffee ☕️ lovers, we had check out the cafes whenever we go. Seniman Coffee Studio came out to the top of the list while I was so research and we had to give it a try! It’s very close to Ubud Palace and Ubud Market. The cafe gave great vibes and interesting chairs that allow the patrons to relax and chill in the cafe for the whole day. #bali #ubudbali

#indonesiatrip I have heard a lot of good reviews about Ubud Traditional Spa and had to find out what’s the hype ! It was so popular that we had to make reservations a few weeks in advance ! No regrets as the environment was very relaxing with the traditional Balinese decorations. The massage room was clean and spacious where all three of us could be in the same room! We had a good signature rice farmer massage of two hours. The masseuse was very professional and detailed ! It was such a treat after a few days of walking! #bali #ubudbali

#indonesiatrip We had been seeing a lot of recommendations for pork ribs in Ubud, Bali and Warung Pondok Madu is one of the popular choices that serves good ribs and we definitely had to check it out. We went in an afternoon and got seats immediately. We ordered a pork ribs in small portion with spicy sauce and a Caesar salad. The ribs were really good - it is tender and the meat just fell off the bone easily! It’s flavourful but not overly salty! The salad 🥗 was fresh and just nice amount of sauce. We enjoyed our meal here. #bali #ubudbali

I wanted to have my mum enjoy a romantic dinner hence decided to go with The Sayan House which is very popular as patrons get to have an unblocked sunset views due to its strategic location. We choose the rice farmer massage and it’s honestly one of the best I have ever experienced! The masseuse really smoothen all my muscle knots. #indonesiatrip We decided to do something different during our vacation and went ahead to check out Campuhan Ridge Walk in Ubud, Bali. We enjoyed walking about this trail. There are some hilly parts but nothing too challenging as the path is well maintained. We could also spot many local flora and fauna while enjoying the hood weather and amazing views ! #bali #ubudbali

#indonesiatrip Penglipuran Village is a popular tourist attraction. It has nothing artificial and has retain the very ancient and beautiful original Balinese village as it used to be. It's not an open-air museum, there are still people living here. Visitors can enter into most of the houses as they are accessible with families sell souvenirs in them, so you can see into the backyards. #bali #ubudbali

#indonesiatrip We specifically check out this restaurant in Ubud after reading a lot of good reviews about it. Luckily we made a reservation in advance, the crowd slowly streamed in during dinner hours and filled up the place. We Ordered Caramel Pork with Rice and Spicy Pork Ribs with Rice. The flavours were really good, spicy pork ribs were tender and not too spicy. To end this on a sweet note, there’s also no service charge. Highly recommended!👍🏻 #bali #ubudbali

#indonesiatrip We took the chance to stay in a villa during our trip to Ubud, Bali. I was immediately attracted by the pictures by Villa Taya while searching for a villa and took the leap of faith to book for a few nights as there wasn’t many reviews. We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious it is! There was also a home assistant which liaised with us timely and gave us a house tour. The place was so pretty ! #winhkflight It’s such a great spa experience! The therapists were very courteous and would adjust the pressure accordingly. We choose to have their signature rice farmers massage and it was a very relaxing experience. The spa itself and gorgeous and it was quick to reserve with them. We also had a welcome drink and tea after the massage and got to choose our own massage oil. The treatment room is very clean and equipped with toilet and shower facilities. I would recommend rice farmer massage for guests who enjoy deep tissue massage. I want to visit Hong Kong and indulge in their local cultural experience! #ubudbali

The ribs were not too dry and went really well with the layer of sauces on top of the ribs. Staffs were attentive and friendly! Surprisingly the Caesar salad was great too! We got to immerse ourselves in the unique ambiance, where the walls are adorned with the tropical charm murals. I like that I could lounge on the sunbeds nestled in the shallow pool or just woken up to the lush greenery surrounded by Singakerta’s lush jungle vista. Zest Ubud has an outstanding view and I would say a must-visit if you are in the region. The smoothie bowl was very delicious and presentation was so pleasing to eyes ! This is also the best time to get good deals as you can bargain with the store owners! They have an extensive selection of handicrafts and homeware – sleek wooden plates and boho pillow covers. This site offers around 2 km distance walk with plenty of panoramic landscape and tropical foliage. #winhkflight Seniman Coffee Studio is a long standing cafe in Ubud Bali. It’s located near to the Ubud Central and we like the vibes here ! Not forget to mention, the coffee varieties are extensive! All coffee was served in this interesting tray that came with small cookie at the side. We also ordered a bagel with cream cheese 🥯 and it was surprisingly good! The village still maintains its traditional culture, traditions and way of life. We could see picture-perfect Balinese village scenes come to life with friendly locals who graciously allow visitors to capture the charm of their homes. We ordered a small portion of pork ribs in spicy sauce, a Caesar salad and it was so satisfying ! The ribs were juicy, tender and very flavourful! We love the juices too!
