What's to expect in Paris in spring? One word: colorful.
Paris in spring is magical, and "colorful" captures it perfectly. As the city awakens from winter, its parks, gardens, and tree-lined boulevards burst with vibrant hues of blooming flowers and fresh greenery.
What flowers can you see in Paris:
Cherry blossoms: These delicate pink blooms are a spring highlight in Paris. Iconic spots to admire them include the areas around the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame, and the Jardin des Plantes. If you visit late in the season, you can still enjoy the beautiful double cherry blossoms.
Wisteria: Typically blooming from late April to early May, wisteria vines drape over homes, cafes, and charming streets like Montmartre and Le Marais, adding a touch of elegance to the city.
Other spring blooms: Parisian gardens feature a variety of spring flowers (sorry I don't remember the names), creating a colorful palette that changes as the season progresses.

Château de Versailles - A Must-See for Your First Trip to Paris
The Château de Versailles, a UNESCO World Heritage site located just outside Paris, is one of the most famous and opulent palaces in the world. Originally a hunting lodge for King Louis XIII, it was transformed into a grand palace by his son, Louis XIV, who moved the royal court there in 1682.
How to Get There: Take the RER C line, a bus, or drive (my friend in Paris gave me a ride here).
Timing: I visited on a weekday to avoid the crowds, but it’s even better to go early in the morning.
Duration: I recommend setting aside a full day to fully explore the castle at a leisurely pace.
Highlighted Places: Hall of Mirrors, Gardens of Versailles, Palace Rooms, and the Trianon Palaces.
Best time to visit: Spring and Autumn

Welcome to the Capital of Gastronomy in France
Welcome to the Capital of Gastronomy in France. If you think French food is good in Paris, wait till you come to Lyon. We fell in love with the local bouchons—these charming bistros are the heart of Lyon’s culinary scene, serving up delicious, traditional dishes in a warm, inviting atmosphere.
We came to Lyon for the food, but actually fell in love with that and everything else. Did we already mention how beautiful the architecture is here?! It’s even got it’s own petit Eiffel Tower (Tour métallique de Fourvière). It’s one of those cities you can never get enough of. Paris is immensely beautiful but Lyon is a different kind of pretty (highly recommended to do both if time permits).
Also, we know that it got a bad rep last year because a viral video made rounds saying that the locals aren’t friendly. BUT we can only say quite the opposite and had such an amazing time here!
Make sure to put this city on your bucket list and follow for more unique destinations around the world!

Castles of the Loire Valley
Traveling through the Loire Valley feels like stepping into a children's storybook, with its turreted fairy-tale castles dotting a lush landscape of dense woodlands and gently flowing rivers. Known as the "Garden of France," this entire region is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Loire's castles range from medieval fortresses perched on hilltops and encircled by ramparts to opulent Renaissance palaces designed for pleasure and leisure, extending court life beyond Paris.
The Château de Chambord, commissioned by King Francis I, stands as the most magnificent of these châteaux. The Château de Chenonceau is celebrated for its elegant, feminine design, while the Château de Cheverny boasts a Neoclassical manor house complete with a Tintin exhibition, English gardens, and a surrounding forest.
In addition to the châteaux, the region offers other historical treasures. The UNESCO-listed cathedrals of Chartres and Bourges are architectural marvels, and the city of Orléans is notable for Joan of Arc's pivotal role in defeating the English army in 1429. The Château Royal d'Amboise, once a residence for French kings for five centuries, is also a must-visit. #francetrip

Whether bathed in the golden light of dawn or illuminated by the city lights at night, the view is nothing short of magical. Inside the basilica, the serene atmosphere and exquisite mosaics offer a moment of reflection amidst the hustle and bustle of the city below.

Nice Vegan Spot
I was here with a friend for breakfast. The location worked for us very well. As we too were out up quite close to the train station. I didn't think of it much over breakfast and then I saw the menu sounded reasonable. I was curious to try their vegan and gluten free options for lunch.
The same day we returned for a late lunch. It's a cute sort of a cafe so the vibe was relaxinf duringthe noon. I think it draws in lot of customers during lunch, may be due to the location next to the train station. A bit pricey just for drinks, but the food they were cooking in preparation for lunch smelled and tasted amazing. If for a change you want to try vegan or vegetarian or other more trendy things like gluten free. This will be a good spot.

A place for Brunch
After a couple of disappointing cafe experiences i was looking at most options as a tourist trap. Kept passing by this place several times. And finally gave in looking at how busy it stayed at all times. Surely this must be good. Since then we ended up eating here like 4 times in 5 days of stay. From breakfast to bunch and late noon stops for coffee and pastries.
I also loved that the place is cute and tastefully designed, so i didn't mind hanging out. The brownie was delicious but too crumbly. Matcha Latte and Cappuccino were the best so far. Definitely come here for brunch, very delightful, but be ready to wait for seating. It's a popular thing here and lots of people come for it. I found take out to be at least 20-30 percent cheaper.

Good place to hangout
It's an interesting set up. I came here with some friends after quite a bit of walking and needed a place for coffee and just hanging out. They offer a good choice of sweets as well. At the entrance desk you can buy and grind coffee beans from a very wide choice of origin. The staff is helpful and can always give you good advice on which coffee can match your taste. We went for the cappuccino, espresso and some of their desserts. Everything tasted nice. I like the place from the point of view of hangouts and relaxation. It's got that kind of vibe.

Speciality coffee
The location is fantastic, you get the cathedral right in front of you. After a good first experience i ended up repeating this spot the next day for my coffee. I'm usually hesitant when places don't mention prices on the menu. It wasn't that bad considering it's location. It's good for gluten free options too.
They have milk alternatives as well. All in all decent food, nice staff, great atmosphere by the notre dam. I did try their pan au chocolat, cappuccino and pastries. They tasted good. If you are around notre dam and want to relax for a while or grab a cup, this can be tried.

Unique food experience in Nice
This was the best food experience we had in all of Nice. Firstly what a lovely location. Just a street away from the market area but still sort of tucked away. Love the outdoor seating. They don't tell you the dishes. You just select if you'd like five courses or seven. And then they surprise you with their creativity. The food showcases a thoughtful combination of flavors and textures.
We found the service to be friendly and welcoming, with a team that clearly knows and enjoys their work. The outdoor seating adds to the overall ambiance. Wine lovers will appreciate the excellent selection, featuring many organic options. They paired our food with wine and it was perfect. I think it's a must try food experience in Nice.

best cafe on cours julien
This was amongst my best breakfast experiences in France. It was largely dominated by sweet taste. I think the breakfast/brunch at Black Bird Coffee is pretty solid. I can see a lot of locals eating here and the prices are decent too.
I love that they have plenty of choices and I'm pretty sure the dishes are very good. The terrace is very large so there is space and the location on the Cours Julien is perfect for walking around Marseille.
I loved their pancakes so much that I had two servings of it all for myself. Both varieties were excellent.
