Hong Kong's Victoria Harbour during the day: A magnificent view with a different charm from the night.
I usually visit Victoria Harbour at night, but this time I came during the day. The daytime scenery gives a fresh and vibrant feeling! Starting from the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, you can enjoy the magnificent view of Victoria Harbour along the way, which is truly refreshing.
During the day, Victoria Harbour occasionally has ships passing by, and the skyscrapers on Hong Kong Island in the distance outline a clear skyline. The daytime atmosphere is completely different from the brightly lit night scene. The harbour during the day presents a bright and open atmosphere, showcasing Hong Kong's unique charm as an international metropolis.
Although the daytime view of Victoria Harbour is different from the dazzling night scene, each moment has its own charm. Whether you visit Hong Kong during the day or at night, you should come here to experience the grandeur and unique atmosphere of Victoria Harbour!

Ming Dynasty Legacy: Tianlong Tunpu Ancient Town
During my trip to Guizhou, I visited the most well-preserved castle from the Ming Dynasty, Tianlong Tunpu, which has a history of over 600 years. The town still retains the lifestyle and cultural customs of the Ming Dynasty. Walking through the ancient streets, one feels as if they have traveled back in time.
The residents of Tianlong Ancient Town are mostly 'Tunpu people,' a minority group with rich indigenous culture and traditional clothing. The houses are primarily built with stone and wood, giving the town a simple and natural charm.
The town has many traditional handicraft shops and farm-to-table restaurants. The most representative folk art is 'Tiaoshen,' an ancient performance that combines theater, ritual, and entertainment. The performances are primitive and rugged, showcasing the beauty of strength.
Guizhou has many ancient towns that have been forgotten by time, each with its own unique charm, making them perfect for a visit to experience the rich culture of minority groups.

The most famous attraction in Viljandi is undoubtedly the castle ruins. Built in the 13th century, the castle was once an important defensive stronghold in Estonia and is now a proud historical heritage of the city.

Additionally, the museum inside the castle is a unique place to visit. It showcases numerous artifacts related to Viljandi's history, such as medieval weapons and exquisite ceramics, allowing you to travel back in time and experience the atmosphere of that era.
Besides its historical heritage, Viljandi's natural scenery is equally enchanting. Vanamise Lake in the city center is one of the city's most famous natural attractions.
This vast lake reflects the surrounding lush woodlands, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere. Wooden walkways along the lake make it easy to stroll amidst the picturesque landscape. Here, you can breathe in the fresh lake breeze and admire the reflections of the sky and buildings on the water. The church on the small island in the lake adds a touch of mystery.

The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort Hawaii Hotel Recommendation
We visited several other resorts on the island, and this is still our top choice! All the staff were amazing and friendly, making us feel very welcome.
The ocean view from the 6th floor is incredible while still being very private.
There are many great activities and amenities here, such as free kayak and snorkeling rentals, a beautiful 'greet the sun' ceremony on the beach, fun lei-making, and even children's activities that we didn't have time to attend. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained.
Experience the grandeur of the Tongren Grand Canyon in Guizhou by drifting along the river.

Autumn Travel to Shinjuku Gyoen
Visiting Shinjuku Gyoen is a must-do activity every spring for cherry blossoms 🌸 and every autumn for the fall foliage 🍁. Due to weather changes, the leaves changed color much later this year, and most of the park was filled with ginkgo trees shining under the sunlight. Despite this, I was not disappointed because the ginkgo trees in this season are also very worth appreciating. Each tree stands tall and majestic!
Experience the Cool Summer Retreat and Miao Village Culture at Danzhai Wanda Town in Guizhou

The art of indigo dyeing, which is also popular in Hakka villages, is particularly interesting, and you can even try your hand at DIY dyeing, which is a lot of fun.

Yuantong Zen Temple in Zhonghe, New Taipei City
Yuantong Zen Temple is a historic Buddhist temple located in Zhonghe District, New Taipei City. It was founded in 1926 and took 51 years to complete. The temple is situated on Baijie Mountain at an altitude of 180 meters, offering a majestic view of Guanyin Mountain in Wugu. The temple features pure Buddhist architectural style, using stones and sand from the mountain, and incorporates elements of Tang and Japanese styles, showcasing Taiwan's history and culture. Upon climbing the steps in front of the temple and passing two large statues of lions and elephants, you can directly see the grand statue of Maitreya Buddha, who gazes benevolently over the Taipei Basin. The plaque above bears the inscription 'Delight All Hearts.' Inside the temple, Shakyamuni Buddha is enshrined. Additionally, there are a library, bell tower, wall carvings, and other buildings and artworks worth admiring. However, like many of Taiwan's mountain areas, the serene environment is sometimes disturbed by the loud karaoke sounds from nearby. Moreover, the numerous new apartment buildings constructed on the mountain over the past 20 years have significantly diminished the scenic beauty.

Strolling along Wukang Road in Shanghai
Starting from the Jiaotong University subway station and walking towards Wukang Road, you will definitely notice the Wukang Mansion. Originally named the Normandie Apartments, it is the first building in Shanghai with an exterior corridor design and is recognized as an outstanding historical building in the city. Located at the intersection of five roads, the unique design of Wukang Mansion always catches the eye, making many tourists stop and take photos for a long time. Currently, the first and second floors of the building are occupied by businesses, while the upper floors are residential.
Walking along Wukang Road, you can see both sides lined with plane trees, creating a beautiful and lush green scenery. Combined with old Western-style houses and historical buildings, this road has a unique charm. The occasional appearance of bookstores, cafes, and artistic shops adds a lot of charm to the stroll. Bulgaria: A Symphony of Sunshine, Roses, and Ancient Legends
Bulgaria, located in the southeastern part of the Balkan Peninsula, captivated me with its rich history, enchanting natural scenery, and warm hospitality. This trip to Bulgaria not only allowed me to witness the passage of history but also experience the vibrancy of modern life and feel the unique charm and warmth of this country.
My journey began in the capital city of Sofia. This city, with its long history, showcases a blend of Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman architectural styles, reflecting its unique historical heritage. I first visited the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, a magnificent Orthodox church with its splendid interior and solemn atmosphere that left me in awe. Walking around the cathedral, I felt the ancient and sacred aura of the city. The sound of the cathedral's bells echoed through the city, as if narrating Sofia's long history.
Leaving the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, I strolled through Sofia's old town, feeling the unique charm of the city's blend of ancient and modern. The juxtaposition of old and modern buildings creates a unique urban landscape. As I wandered through the narrow streets and alleys, I discovered hidden treasures: a small antique shop displaying ancient artifacts, an unassuming café with the rich aroma of coffee, or a mural on a wall telling an old story. The streets of Sofia are full of life and energy, with people walking, chatting, and shopping, showcasing the city's lively and friendly atmosphere.
Sofia's cultural heritage is profound. I visited the National Archaeological Museum, which houses a vast collection of exhibits related to Bulgaria's history and culture. The exquisite artifacts and precious historical materials left me in awe. The museum's exhibits vividly depict Bulgaria's historical changes and cultural characteristics, giving me a deeper understanding of the country. I was particularly fascinated by some ancient gold ornaments, whose exquisite craftsmanship and splendid designs showcased the brilliance of Bulgaria's ancient civilization.
Leaving Sofia, I headed to southern Bulgaria to experience its enchanting natural scenery. I first visited the Rose Valley, the world's largest producer of rose oil, which hosts a grand rose festival every spring. Although I missed the festival, I was still captivated by the beautiful scenery. The hills covered with roses emitted a refreshing fragrance, making me feel relaxed and happy. Walking through the rose fields, I felt the fragrance and beauty of nature. The air was filled with the scent of roses, making me feel refreshed.
From the Rose Valley, I went to the Black Sea coast to experience its charm. The coastline of the Black Sea is winding, with fine white sand and clear blue water. I walked along the beach, feeling the gentle sea breeze and admiring the waves crashing against the shore. The sunlight sparkled on the sea, creating a breathtaking view. I also participated in a diving activity, exploring the underwater world of the Black Sea and discovering many unique marine creatures.
Here are some highlights of my trip that added fun and emotion to my journey in Bulgaria:
Tasting local cuisine: I tasted local Bulgarian specialties such as salads, grilled meats, and various dairy products. These delicacies not only satisfied my taste buds but also gave me a taste of Bulgarian culinary culture. I especially enjoyed a traditional Bulgarian yogurt with a unique taste that left a lasting impression. In an unassuming small restaurant, I tasted a local specialty dish that was so delicious that I still remember it fondly.
Interacting with locals: I interacted with some locals who were warm and hospitable, introducing me to Bulgarian culture and life, giving me a deeper understanding of the country. Their friendliness and warmth made me feel the simplicity and kindness of the Bulgarian people. An elderly local woman, speaking in broken English, told me stories of Bulgaria's history with such passion and sincerity that I was deeply moved.
Unexpected discoveries: I found some hidden artworks in the streets and alleys of Bulgaria, such as street graffiti and sculptures, which added an artistic touch to the country. These artworks showcased the creativity and imagination of the Bulgarian people. I also discovered a small, unassuming bookstore with a collection of precious ancient books, which surprised and delighted me.
Sunset on the Black Sea coast: I spent an unforgettable sunset on the Black Sea coast. As the sun set, the sky turned a golden red, and the sea sparkled, creating a breathtaking view. I sat on the beach, quietly admiring the beautiful scenery, feeling a sense of peace and tranquility. This was one of the most memorable moments of my trip to Bulgaria.
My trip to Bulgaria gave me a new understanding of the country. It is not only a country with a long history but also a vibrant, culturally rich, and naturally beautiful country. It uniquely blends history with modernity, city with nature, showcasing its unique charm. Sunshine, roses, and ancient legends intertwine to create a beautiful picture. This journey made me understand the meaning of travel, which is not only to appreciate the scenery but also to experience life, feel different cultures, and discover the diversity of the world. Bulgaria, I will remember you, this land of sunshine, roses, and ancient legends, and that unforgettable journey.
Check-in at Tongna Island Bay Scenic Area in Daxin County, Guangxi
Tongna Island Bay, located in the magnificent border town of Daxin County in Chongzuo City, boasts pure and beautiful karst landscapes. The main attractions are concentrated around the Heishui River and Xiangshui River, with the 'Seven Islands, Seven Bays, and Thousand Reefs' and 'Two Rivers, Two Banks, and Ten Thousand Mountains.' Bai Juyi's poem 'Half leaning on the cloud islet, half leaning on the mountain, loving this place makes one reluctant to leave' perfectly describes the poetic and secluded paradise here.
In this tranquil landscape, I have compiled some absolutely stunning check-in points. Be sure to save them!
Tusi Wharf: Board a boat here for a tour, passing through the water illusion. The misty waves of the water illusion instantly transport you to a fairyland. You can also experience the Tusi culture of Guangxi and even witness the Tusi welcoming ceremony, making you feel like you're traveling with 'Xu Xiake.'
Water Forest Maze: The micro stone forest landscape on the water here is truly amazing! The strange rocks on the water have the charm of the Stone Forest in Lunan and the colors of Jiuzhai Haizi. Under the bamboo forest, among the rocks, it feels like you're in a natural wonderland.
Longbi Beach Waterfall Group: This is a heart-shaped waterfall group, with water flowing like a white dragon through the rocks. There are multiple viewing platforms to admire the waterfalls. The stream is sometimes turbulent and shocking, sometimes delicate and gentle, truly breathtakingly beautiful.
Nature and landscape lovers, don't miss the beautiful Tongna Island Bay!

💞Recommended Reason: A new type of Tainan night market
🏖️Environment/Facilities: Other entertainment facilities available
Although Tainan has several large night markets, you can try visiting the newly opened Dayi Night Market next to Nanfang. It operates from Thursday to Sunday and is quite pleasant to stroll around. Unlike other night markets that are overcrowded, this one doesn't give you a cramped feeling. While it may not have very popular or must-try famous stores, the overall experience is comfortable. After visiting the night market, you can also go to the two nearby large shopping malls, which offer a wide range of high-end and low-end products and food.

Taiwan's largest national historic monument complex.
📍Address: No. 91, Laiyuan Road, Wufeng District, Taichung City, Taiwan
🕰️Business Hours: 08:30 to 17:00
🏖️Environment/Facilities: The school's back garden
💰Average Cost: 30 TWD per person
The facility is located within the Ming Tai campus, making it a unique location. In the last century, after a famous member of the Lin family passed the imperial examination, he renovated the garden on a large scale to show gratitude to his mother, Madam Luo, for raising him. He named it 'Laiyuan' after the story of Lao Lai Zi entertaining his parents with colorful clothes. The architecture is a harmonious blend of Chinese and Western styles, and the pond and surrounding landscaping are beautiful. It is one of the attractions of the Wufeng Lin Family Mansion and Garden. If you are driving, you can park your vehicle for free inside the campus. It is worth visiting, although the park is not very large and can be toured quickly. You can also plan to spend half a day visiting other related attractions.

The resort boasts a prime location with charming beaches and nearby attractions. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and offer stunning ocean views.

The service attitude is excellent!
This is our first time at Conghua Bishuiwan Hot Spring Resort. The room is very spacious, and we chose a room with a private hot spring pool. The environment is clean, and there are various hot spring pools downstairs. However, due to the large number of people soaking in the hot springs downstairs, we decided to enjoy the hot springs in our room freely.
Initially, we encountered some issues in the room. The TV was full of static, and one of the lights wouldn't turn on. We contacted the hotel staff, and they quickly arranged for a technician to come and fix the problems. The staff also offered to change our room, but we preferred the view from our original room, so we didn't change. The hotel staff promptly arranged for a new TV to be installed, and the issues were resolved quickly, leaving us very satisfied!
The staff even cleaned our hot spring pool and gave us a mugwort sachet to use while soaking in the hot spring, which was very thoughtful!
Check-in at Heishui River Wetland Park in Daxin, Guangxi.
Heishui River National Wetland Park is located in Daxin County, Chongzuo City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is a national-level wetland park.
Although the ticket price is not cheap, the slow-paced feeling you get when you take a boat through each stream will make you reluctant to leave. For those who often work in a fast-paced environment, this is really a great place to relax and unwind.
Every corner of Heishui River National Wetland Park is filled with the breath of nature. Whether you are strolling along the tree-shaded paths or sitting on a boat admiring the scenery on both sides of the stream, you can feel the charm of nature. This is not just a tourist destination, but a place where your soul can be purified.
This place is a paradise for photography enthusiasts, with its stunning karst landscapes, clear river waters reflecting green peaks, and towering ancient trees. Every spot is a great subject for photography. At the same time, it is also suitable for tea tasting and leisure, allowing you to experience the tranquility and harmony of nature.

Tainan Yanshui Town's internationally renowned exhibition event: Yuejin Port Lantern Festival.
Every year during the Lunar New Year Lantern Festival, Tainan's Yanshui Town is packed with crowds coming to witness two major spectacles: the Yanshui Beehive Fireworks and the Yuejin Port Lantern Festival. One dynamic, one static, both equally spectacular. This time, we visited the Yuejin Port Lantern Festival, which combines light and water, and has won the Red Dot Design Award for its exhibition design, gaining international acclaim.
At dusk, when the colorful lights are turned on, the Yuejin Port Waterfront Park becomes a dazzling and beautiful place, filled with a dreamy and romantic atmosphere. The festival innovates every year, integrating technology, art, and the environment, and features 5G digital virtual creations and guided tours, making it truly a highlight.
The lights on the river are quite enchanting. However, the crowds at the Yuejin Port Lantern Festival can be overwhelming, with traffic and parking being a headache, not to mention the sea of people! So we visited early on a weekday before the event officially started, allowing us to enjoy the view comfortably.

Journey Between Steel and Nature in Dniprodzerzhynsk
To be honest, Dniprodzerzhynsk is not a well-known tourist destination. Unlike Kyiv or Odessa, it doesn't boast a long history or numerous famous attractions. Instead, it is a city known for its heavy industry, shaped by steel and rivers. However, it is precisely this unique identity that drew me to explore this lesser-known Ukrainian city and experience its distinct charm.
My journey in Dniprodzerzhynsk began with exploring its industrial heritage. The city is renowned for its steel mills, which are not just cold production workshops but symbols of Dniprodzerzhynsk's history and identity. I visited some local factories (some may require prior permission for a tour). Although I couldn't enter the factory premises, observing these massive structures from the outside and feeling their scale and power was already awe-inspiring. These steel giants, roaring day and night, have shaped the city's appearance and the lifestyle of its people.
However, Dniprodzerzhynsk is not all about steel. The Saksahany River flows through the city, adding a touch of greenery to this industrial town. I strolled along the riverbank, feeling the flow of the water and admiring the riverside scenery. The clear water reflected the city's buildings and the clouds in the sky, creating a beautiful picture. Along the riverbank, there are small parks and green spaces where people walk, chat, and relax, enjoying moments of tranquility. This starkly contrasts with the city's industrial hustle and bustle, showcasing another side of Dniprodzerzhynsk—a city seeking balance between steel and nature.
The city center of Dniprodzerzhynsk is relatively small but full of life. I wandered through the city center, feeling the pulse of the city. There are many shops, restaurants, and cafes where people shop, dine, and socialize. I tasted some local specialties and experienced Dniprodzerzhynsk's culinary culture. Although the choices may not be as abundant as in big cities, the food here has a simple flavor and a friendly atmosphere.
I also visited some museums and cultural centers in Dniprodzerzhynsk. Although they may not be as large as those in big cities, they showcase the city's cultural heritage and historical accumulation. These museums and cultural centers house many precious materials about Dniprodzerzhynsk's history and culture, giving me a deeper understanding of the city.
The natural scenery around Dniprodzerzhynsk is also worth exploring. I went on an outing to visit nearby forests and lakes. Although the scenery may not be as magnificent as the Carpathian Mountains, the natural beauty here has a simple and tranquil charm. In the forest, I breathed fresh air and felt the tranquility and beauty of nature. By the lake, I admired the rippling water and felt the vitality and energy of nature.
Here are some small episodes from the journey that added more fun and feelings to the trip:
Interacting with locals: I communicated with some locals who were mostly friendly. Although there was a language barrier, we could still communicate simply through body language and translation software. They introduced me to the customs and culture of Dniprodzerzhynsk, giving me a deeper understanding of the city.
Unexpected discoveries: I unexpectedly found some hidden artworks in the city, such as street graffiti and sculptures, which added an artistic touch to Dniprodzerzhynsk.
Sunset by the river: In the evening, I sat by the Saksahany River, watching the sunset and the shimmering water, enjoying a peaceful and beautiful time.
Local market experience: I visited the local market in Dniprodzerzhynsk, which was full of life. I saw many fresh agricultural products and local specialties, feeling the city's vitality.
The trip to Dniprodzerzhynsk gave me a new understanding of the city. It may not be as glamorous as those famous tourist cities, but it has its unique charm—a balance between steel and nature, a simple and sincere way of life. It made me realize that even a lesser-known city can have its unique charm and leave a deep impression. Dniprodzerzhynsk, I will remember you, the city between steel and nature. This journey made me understand that the meaning of travel is not just to admire the scenery but to experience life, feel different cultures, and discover the diversity of the world.
Exploring the Charm of Nizhny Novgorod
As one of Russia's four ancient capitals, Nizhny Novgorod has long been on my radar. Finally, it has come into my view. As the train traversed the winding tracks along the Volga River, this enchanting city gradually appeared before my eyes. I couldn't help but gaze out the window, seeing the towering Kremlin standing on the opposite bank, its golden domes shining brightly like a majestic royal fortress.
After getting off the train, I walked along the winding streets to the city center. The ancient architectural style here made me feel as if I had traveled through time, immersing myself in a world full of historical charm. The old town's framework is composed of red-brick two-story buildings, and against the backdrop of these structures, the winding Volga River appeared even more picturesque. I couldn't help but slow my pace, savoring the rich historical atmosphere exuded by this place.
As I strolled through the streets and alleys, I was constantly captivated by the sights before me. Bell towers, churches, and ancient castles all revealed the city's long-standing historical heritage. I felt as if I were traveling through different historical periods, experiencing the charm accumulated over a thousand years in this city.
After exploring the narrow streets of the old town, I decided to visit Nizhny Novgorod's most iconic architectural complex—the Kremlin.
The Kremlin, situated on the banks of the Volga River, has towering red walls that contrast with the golden, resplendent church spires, resembling a magnificent royal castle. Following the signs, I passed through the gates and entered this sacred domain.
Upon entering the palace, I was immediately struck by the sight before me. The majestic buildings, intricately decorated interiors, and gleaming golden domes all showcased the renowned architectural charm of this place.
