We were looking for a chill and relaxed trip away from the city. This was worth the money as the view from the room is just amazing! You can even watch the sunrise from the room as they have windows at three sides of the room! The view id breathtaking. We stayed at Beyond Skywalk Nangshi! Beautiful place! With a free entry to Skywalk anytime from 6-6! Sunrises around 6am and it is dark by 7pm. The place is too beautiful during sunrise. We went with our 6 month old baby and it was really comfortable. The staffs were really friendly and food was amazing. The chicken stuffed pizza was really one of the best we had! This cafe called Day & Night Of Phuket is a highly-rated cafe situated in Talat Yai close to Old Phuket Town. I was completely blown away by the decor and design of the place. What a sophisticated ambience it felt like! In terms of the food, some dishes were nicer than others. They have a wide variety in their menu that covers western and local Thai cuisine. You can also order yummy cocktails from the bar. Opening hours are 11am to 12am every day. In the evenings, they also have a lovely live band that plays chill bossa nova top 40s song covers. During our visit to Phuket, we stayed at Courtyard Marriott hotel and found a quaint little cafe just a 5-minute walk away! It specializes in Italian cuisine like pizzas and pastas but what was awesome was that they actually make their own fresh pasta. We tried the vongole linguine and bolognese, both tasted pretty decent. Dessert was the creamy and fluffy strawberry cheesecake. I enjoyed the ambience here as well because it was bright and cheery. Calling all sourdough lovers! This cafe called Bartels is one that you must surely come and visit to try their freshly baked sourdough bread. You can choose from savoury or sweet options, all made with their in-house bread. The portion sizes are huge too, and you can select whether you want the regular bread or toasted bread. We tried both and we liked the toasted one more! So crispy and fragrant, along with the generous ham and cheese filling. The ambience was bright and airy, lots of natural light infusing the spaces. If you are visiting Phuket and looking for an Instagram-worthy cafe to check out, I highly recommend Graph Cafe! It is located within the district of Old Phuket Town and has a very artsy coffee menu. We ordered the Monochrome, which has charcoal in it, and Woodland, a drink with cocoa, banana and milk. Both were beautifully presented and tasted very unique! Cafe hopping is a very popular activity to do in Phuket so many cafes have been popping up all over the country. The one we visited is called Craftist Cafe, open from 9am to 11pm every day. They are known for their coffees and other specialty drinks. You can also order food here, there is an interesting variety to choose from like peanut caramel bars, breakfast quesadillas and blueberry cheese pies. Very homemade and delicious! My solo trip to Phuket, and it was an incredible experience. One of the highlights was visiting an elephant sanctuary, where I got to feed these gentle giants bananas. It was a unique and heartwarming experience, witnessing their playful nature up close. Another memorable part of my trip was exploring the chartered walking street in Phuket. The vibrant atmosphere was filled with local vendors offering delicious street food and beautiful handicrafts. I indulged in some amazing Thai dishes and found unique souvenirs to take home. Made some new friends too. Overall, Phuket was a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, and I can’t recommend it enough for solo travelers looking to immerse themselves in nature and local culture.
