I always make it a point to visit one of the McDonald's branches in every city or country that I visit. If you are a fan of the fast food chain like me and plan to visit Porto, you should check out this particular McDonald's branch in the heart of Porto which is often said to be the most beautiful McDonald's in the world. Opened in 1995, the restaurant is housed in a historical building from the 1930s used to be known as the Imperial Cafe.
I stopped by the restaurant for some dessert and was greeted by a giant bronze eagle sculpture at the entrance. Once inside, I could not help but marvel at the magnificent stained glass windows and crystal chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. I had a good time enjoying my dessert while admiring its beautiful interior.

From the entrance you know you are going into one of the best experiences of your lifetime. For us it was our 1st marriage anniversary and we wanted to celebrate it in this fancy restaurant .
Food 🥘 :
The menu is in form of packages with 7 to 10 dishes served in small portions. Most of the dishes are seafood dishes plus a kids menu which can only be ordered for a kid . Prices are from 80$ for the cheapest package (Vegetarian) to some that reaches 250$ with drinks . In my opinion , I didn’t really enjoy all the dishes but some of them were good and you’d like to have more than just the small portion given to you .

Literally the best thing about this restaurant is the vibe and atmosphere all around it . Having lunch/ dinner next to a giant aquarium filled with all various types of fish and even some small sharks is absolutely amazing. They also had a diver that goes around inside waving at us and posing for photos

The service was fairly good . The staff guided us well when checking the menu and explained us the concept of the restaurant and each package. They also provided a brief description of each dish was served . A friend recommended Mist, and I was blow away by how beautiful this restaurant is. The three storey restaurant has a unique design, featuring cozy corners on each level. Once you have taken all your Instagram worthy pictures of the layout, its time to enjoy some delicious food. The service at Mist was amazing and the food exceptional. Best place to eat around Darling Harbour.
Planar is an australian restaurant located centrally in Sydney by Darling Harbor. The restaurant has a nice interior and a good selection of dishes. The food arrived quickly and tasted amazing. I would recommend the ragu pasta and fried rice. They even offer pasta making classes.
My overall experience with this restaurant is fabulous - all the staff are super friendly, food is served in huge portion with high quality!!! I would totally visit here again for enjoying few glasses of wine and good food with spectacular darling harbour sunset in my next visit to Sydney!
And if you’re lucky you can see the fireworks during your meal!

This lovely restaurant is apparently one of the late Anthony Bourdains favourites. It’s located in the heart of the Jewish Ghetto area. Must try Articokes the Jewish way, fried courgette flowers, carbonara and spaghetti with artichokes, and to end it, tiramisu. I never was a fan of tiramisu but this place has changed my opinion. Worth a go and competitively priced!
I am so glad we took the advice from a nice lady (who had given us many reasons to trust her, but sometimes you are just generally doubtful, and you look in your past self in a head shaking sense) they took such good care of us, with humor and kindness and I am grateful. I might be the boss at ordering, but they are clearly experts at the rest.
