In this review, we will take friends to experience Harbin, a city famous for its freezing cold weather, with temperatures as low as minus 30 degrees. The snow is fluffy and white, and the fleece is like being in Europe. We will take you to visit the snow village that is so soft and fluffy, like something out of a fairy tale. Take pictures and check in at the world-class ice festival at Harbin Ice And Snow World. Walk around the city, shop, and eat on Zhongyang Street. I guarantee that you will have an unforgettable experience that you can't find in Thailand.

📌Harbin travel plan (Our travel plan does not include the travel date from Bangkok to Harbin. We only select the actual travel date because Harbin does not have a direct flight. We have to transfer on the first and last days of the trip. We will only have 4 actual travel days.)

- Accommodation on Zhongyang Road for 4 nights costs 3,000 baht (Super8 Hotel)
- Accommodation in Snow Village 2,200 baht
- Round-trip transportation to Snow Village is approximately 980 baht
- Admission to Snow Village with bus 588 baht
- Admission to Ice and Snow World 1,608 baht
- Admission to Volga Manor 824 baht
- Taxi fare for the entire trip 1,600 baht. We only took taxis during the entire trip in Harbin.
- Food 4,000 baht (with two buffet meals)

📌 Things to know before going to Harbin
- Harbin does not have direct flights from Bangkok. You have to transfer in China.
- December to February is considered the high season. There are many tourist attractions and activities.
- The weather in Harbin is quite cold to very cold, the temperature is around -20 to -35.
- Due to the quite cold weather, winter gear is very necessary. The things that are indispensable are gloves, hats, and thermal bags. If you are very cold, it is recommended to bring them with you.
- Most shops in Harbin still accept cash, but if you want convenience, it is recommended to use Alipay.
- The main tourist attractions in Harbin can be reached by train. The train fare is not expensive, starting at 2 yuan.
- If you are not comfortable going with many people, it is recommended to call the Didi taxi app. You can use it through the Alipay app or call a regular taxi. The starting price is 8 yuan.
- From the airport to the city, you can use a bus. The price is 20 yuan per person. It passes through main routes such as Zhongyang Street. We did not use it because our accommodation was not far from the airport. We used a taxi instead.
- Chinese people do not speak English very well, but do not worry. You can use Google Translate to talk to them. They are lovely and always try to help us.
📌Important apps that you must have on your phone
-Alipay is an app for financial transactions, paying for transportation, and we can connect credit cards or travel cards.
-Baidu map is an app for traveling to see various tourist attractions like Google Maps, but the app is in Chinese, so you have to use Google Translate. I recommend searching for the name of the place in Chinese.
-Didi is an app in Alipay. This app is for calling a taxi. It is not expensive. You can pin the taxi license plate number conveniently and easily. The trick is don't forget to press and select the one that requires a discount.
-Trip is for booking hotels and accommodations in the Snow Village. We also book in this app.
-Metroman is a train app. We can see the pick-up and drop-off points from this map.
Harbin is actually a Chinese tourist destination that not many Thais have visited yet. So we would like to recommend that everyone go there. Traveling to China by yourself is not difficult for everyone. Chinese people are very friendly. Don't wait, follow us to travel.
