The warm weather made the trail even more enjoyable, with sunshine pouring over the landscape as we made our way up. The hike itself was a bit challenging but manageable, with well-marked paths and beautiful surrounding views of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables mountain range. As we climbed, we could feel the anticipation of reaching the top and taking in the panoramic vistas that awaited us. When we finally reached the summit, the reward was beyond worth it. The view was simply breathtaking—Queenstown laid out beneath us, with sparkling waters, lush hillsides, and snow-capped peaks in the distance. We spent some time soaking it all in, capturing photos, and enjoying the tranquility. On my way to Mt Cook and we stopped by to take some photos of the beautiful scenery that you can’t forget once you have seen it. It takes around 3 hours drive from the Town Centre of Queenstown and it totally worth the drive! The weather wasn’t great when we were there but you still can see the mountains 🏔️ and the views. If you are planning to go Mt Cook, please book at least a night to stay there so that you can enjoy the track and sit down and relax with a beer or wine to look at the views. #bucketlistreboot A trip to queenstown was the best ever trip in my entire life. I did not expect Queenstown city would be as amazing as this. I fell in love with this lovely town surrounded by amazing nature. Easy access from any domestic airport around New Zealand, this town is approximately 1 hour plus flight from the capital city Auckland. In terms of accomodation, a lot of option to choose from ranging from a budget one to the luxurious hotels. If you dont rent any car, fret not as you can simply just join any group tours from the central town. A day tour to milford sounds was indeed of of thw highlights of this trip. #queenstown is truly an amazing place! We went there for skiing and it ended up being one of the best skiing trips we ever had! I highly recommend to go Cadrona, side slopes, scenic and suits all level of skier/snowboarder.

Below review is from Mount Cook - Queenstown only : A quite chill tour. We have our first stop at lake pulaki (with toilet) and second stop at the high country salmon shop (with toilet) the salmon is freshwater salmon and there are fresh and nice. Third stop is at the Lindis pass where you can take stunning pictures on the valley (without toilet) the next stop bus driver refill pertrol at tarras (with toilet) and continue to drive to our last stop Jason Orchard (without toilet) to buy some fresh fruit ice cream (s/m/l but small is big enough) and fresh fruits / vegetable. 1. Sunshine Bay Beach Took a nice walk down to beach to clear my thoughts. It’s beautiful even during the winter, getting to listen to the waves and breathe in the fresh air. A great place to walk your dog, take a little barbecue down and have a few drinks! That’s exactly what I did for my birthday earlier in the year :) 2. Fear Factory Would recommend at least once in your life just to say you’ve been there because I was literally crying on my mum’s shoulders the whole time. It’s a great story to tell ahaha! Super spooky 🧟‍♂️ 3. Captains Steak and Seafood Restaurant Relaxing pub atmosphere with yummy cocktails, right in the centre of town. The salmon and orzo dish was delicious and very filling.
