Stunning San Francisco: A Breathtaking Cityscape from Twin Peaks
#cityscape #100waysoftravel #goldengatebridge #twinpeak#sanfrancisco
The view of San Francisco's cityscape from Twin Peaks is absolutely breathtaking. With the clear blue sky on our side, we were able to see the entire city unfold beneath us. The iconic skyline, featuring the Transamerica Pyramid and Salesforce Tower, stands tall against the backdrop of the shimmering Bay. From this vantage point, we could clearly spot the Golden Gate Bridge in the distance, gracefully arching over the water, and the Bay Bridge connecting the city to Oakland. The vibrant neighborhoods of San Francisco, from the Mission District to downtown, stretch out in a patchwork of color. The sweeping panorama, combined with the calm of the bay and the hills surrounding it, made this experience unforgettable.
It was a great trip at San Francisco Museum of Modern Art 🇺🇸
#usatrip
I had a fantastic time at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA)! 🎨🏛️ The museum’s extensive collection of contemporary art was both inspiring and thought-provoking. The entrance fee was around $25, and it was worth every penny to see works by iconic artists like Andy Warhol and Jackson Pollock. I was especially impressed by the museum’s impressive architecture and the rooftop garden, which offers great views of the city. 🌆🌿 After exploring the museum, I strolled through the nearby Yerba Buena Gardens and enjoyed a relaxing afternoon in the park. If you're an art lover in San Francisco, SFMOMA is a must-visit! #trip #SFMOMA #SanFrancisco #ModernArt #MuseumVisit #ArtLovers

San Francisco’s Finest: My Top 5 Travel Picks
I love San Francisco! I’ve visited this unique city twice and I can’t wait to go back a third time!
Here are some of my favorite things to do in the city:
1️⃣ The Painted Ladies - This icon row of colorful houses sits against the stunning backdrop of the city. After snapping the ladies, take a walk through the surrounding neighborhood as the architecture is beautiful!
2️⃣San Francisco Tram - The tram network in the city is extensive and there are many photo opportunities throughout the city to snap the tram in action!
3️⃣The Golden Gate Bridge - Whether you walk or cycle, crossing The Golden Gate Bridge is a must! You’ll find excellent viewpoints on both sides!
4️⃣Little Italy - A beautiful area that really comes to life at dusk. There are a plethora of Italian restaurants and cafes for you to feast in! If you’re after a good sandwich check out “Molinari Delicatessen”
5️⃣Chinatown - One of the best Chinatowns I have been to! There’s lots of Chinese culture to explore and hills cut through the area so you can get some great pictures of the city with the Bay Bridge in the distance!

Culinary Delights at John's Grill: A San Francisco Must
Arrived at San Francisco, and all I do is meet friends here and there!
The second afternoon snack and the third dinner are considered here as a means of maintaining a conversation, and not a serious vice, as sometimes in other countries. I gathered my friends and showed them an amazing place, after which all their diets went downhill - @johnsgrillsf. Here are the most delicious steaks on the planet since 1908. There is nothing more for me to add. If, before coming here, I doubted whether it was possible to carry Jack Leland salad, with loads of crab, lamb chops and surf and turf which is a New York steak with a lobster tail and fried jumbo prawns in myself... now I have no doubt - you can! 😂
John’s grill even has its’ private label Cabernet Sauvignon. If you're in town, be sure to check it out! It is no coincidence that Sting, Khbabib Nurmagomedov, Steve Wozniak Apple Co-Founder, American politicians and many others like to dine in this restaurant. By the way, they are the Home of the Maltese falcon, which was a famous novel written in 1930 by Dashiell Hammett.
All in all, I highly recommend this place to visit. Loved it so much and yes, it’s super-photogenic! ;)

The infamous Alcatraz, worth the journey!
Alcatraz Prison, Alcatraz Island - San Francisco, California.
I have always wanted to go to Alcatraz so jumped at the chance during a 48 hour stop over in San Francisco.
The prison has to be one of the most impressive museums I’ve been to in my life, the layout takes you through so much of the complex and is absolutely fascinating.
The prison is infamous as it’s use a penitentiary between the 1930’s to the 1930’s but the museum also covers the lesser known period when it was occupied by native Americans during their national protest and fight for rights and recognition.
There is so much left from both of these eras so you really get a sense of what it was like through its history.
The boat ride back and forth from the pier also gives you stunning views of San Francisco and it’s iconic hills and vistas.
Worth a trip for any history buffs and anyone that wants to better understand the history of this wonderful city. #sanfrancisco #alcatraz #california #urbanexplorer #america #history

Overnight Layover at SFO
We had a 12-hour overnight layover in San Francisco, and I have to say, for American airports, spending the night at SFO was not too bad. There were a few exhibits around to look at, and there were nap chairs to take a rest in. Although, the most popular places to sleep were the dining booths in the food courts. Overall, it wasn’t too bad, and staying in the international terminal saved us quite a bit of money versus staying at an airport hotel.

In just one perfect day, it is possible to do most of the great things including walk through the oldest China Town, go shopping at Union Square, walk over the Golden Gate Bridge, dine at Al's Place, ride a cable car, visit to the world class museums, trip to Alcatraz, drive through the World's Crookedest Street and so on... Steepest winding trek in San Francisco
Lombard is the longest and steepest winding street that is made up of eight hairpin turns, making it an interesting trek from the bottom to the top. It is also known as the world’s most crooked street given its design and attracts many visitors to try hiking up its bends. Quite an eye-opener!
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Netherlands in Cali?
For the bloggers, locals, or tourists who want that Europe feel, let me introduce you to the Dutch Windmills.
Whether you want to eat lunch with a view or have a photoshoot, I highly recommend checking this place out. It's situated at the end of Golden Gate Park towards Ocean Beach. There's plenty of parking there or at the beach. You probably won't be alone, so be aware of that if you're vlogging.
After your shoot there, head to Ocean Beach for another great shoot.

Fisherman's Wharf is a must-visit in SFO
#mytripvlog
A walk-through of Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco can feel unique. Regardless of whether it's a hot, sunny day or one filled with San Francisco's iconic fog. It also gets pretty crowded any day of the week or every season, so be prepared and comfortable with people jams.

Slice of France in San Francisco
This is by far the prettiest museum in Northern California. The best part is if you want a photo shoot like I did above, the outside is completely free and empty on weekdays. Whether you want the Louvre feel or pillars in your headshots, this place has got you covered.
Apparently, it's a replica of Palais de la Légion d'Honneur. So, if you're missing France, just bring your pastries and have a seat in the courtyard.
Where: 100 34th Ave, San Francisco, CA 94121
Inside Lincoln Golf Course
it’s accessible by public transport too.

You have not seen all of San Francisco!
Getting There - Take a plane going to Oakland instead of SFO. Though SFO is connected to the BART, you'll find cheaper flights going to Oakland as well as cheaper places to stay, but be very careful!
Attractions - Powell Street, Union Square Plaza, Pier 39, Fisherman's Warf, Palace of Fine Arts, Crissy Field, Golden Gate Park, Half-moon Bay (If you rented a Car), Ghirardelli Square, Pacifica Beach, 24hr Macy's store, The Castro, San Mateo Bridge, Lombard Street, Chinatown (There are tons of chinatown in the US, but this is probably the cleanest Chinatown I have been. lmao), Take the Muni tram, Golden Gate Vista Point and many more.
Hotels - I recommend Union Square Plaza Hotel since this is nearby the city center to help you get around San Francisco.
Food & Restaurants - Pinecrest (The line on this breakfast diner is crazy, but it is worth it!), Cafe Mason (A good alternative for Pinecrest), Bottle Club Pub (it is an amazing find, not a hole on the wall kind of pub. it looks pretty expensive, but it's actually very affordable and staff were all nice for an all-white staff pub. sorry not being a racist here).
Shopping - Union Square Plaza has the 24hr Macy's and around it, you can find pretty much alot of luxury brands around the area.#sanfrancisco #westcoast #travelcalifornia
The World Famous Lombard Street In SFO
SFO - Sanfrancisco is known for many world famous attractions located all around town. Lombard Street is one of the MustVisit in Sanfrancisco where many tourists will be seen taking photos right by the street.
Lombard Street is located at US 101 between Richardson Ave and Broderick Street where you will see a very steep section of the road and its popular due to its very sharp turns and is also called the most crooked Street in the world. Anyone can drive down this crooked street, there is even a tour where you will be allowed to rent this cute mini car to drive down this street. Of course there is a fee to pay when entering this street and do be aware that while driving down this crooked road traffic is really slow due to its sharp curves and 1 way street.

A Snippet Video Of Entering Into Alcatraz
Alcatraz Island is a popular tourist attraction when coming to the United States. You will even see locals from all around America come visiting this place.
This place is only successive via ferry, and for people with sea sickness, fret not as the water is rather calm and the ferry is a much bigger ferry it will tend to rock lesser. This is a must visit if you are visiting San Francisco and your trip will never be complete without it.
To expedite your trip and a smoother flow, I do recommend to get your cruise ticket online as there might be some discounts available, it might also be available on trip.com with you claiming of points if it isn't sold out. For us, we had to endure the long queues as we have forgotten to buy the ferry tickets for the island, so don't forget!

In The Alcatraz Island, The Prison Walks
The Alcatraz Island is a popular tourists attraction as it was once an island of incarceration where this was a prison for the most dangerous criminal and it was heavily guarded by the military making this look like a Fort and almost impossible to break out of the island due to the prison being surrounded by waters.
Now the prison has closed since the 1963 due to the very heavy cost of running this operation, it has become a tourist attraction where you will be able to go into the walls of the Fort to have a look at how the prisoners here once lived. Prisoners are separated with cell doors and you will learn the type of prisoners being sent here. You will also be able to walk the ground of the Alcatraz Island into the different building, the dinning Hall and there is now also a souvenir shop for you if you want to bring back some memories of this island.
You will be able to learn the history behind the island and also the prisoners sufferings in here as well, to understand their way of life and their daily routine here.

The Ferry Arch & Musee Mecanique
San Francisco is home to many tourists attraction, where a bunch of them is located at pier 43 where you will be able to see the popular Ferry Arch
a popular monument that is used to hoist heavy items like cars, or unloading rail cars off ferries that are parked on the wharf. This was back in the olden times in 1914 but now it serve as a monument for photo taking.
Also along the pier there is a musee mecanique which is free, it showcases many antique arcade games that are self collected by the owner themselves and right outside the pier you can also see many parked warships like the USS Pampanito which was an operating warships which now serve as a museum as well, but this isn't free and tickets are chargeable.

Roadtripping From Sanfranisco - Seattle
One of my most unforgettable trip is doing a solo road trip from San Francisco up towards Seattle. It is one of the longest drive I ever did, with a total of almost 13hours that is if u drive straight.
Well it took me 2 days, a 8 hour drive on the first day and another 6 hours the next. Solo driving on a trip like this can be really tiring but it can be enjoyable too if you plan it right!
From San Francisco I did a stop over in a small town called crescent city which I had a short night stay overlooking the sea to relax myself for the next day. And the scenery can also be quite beautiful if you take the time to stop and look around. And if you like the cold weather plan your trip closer to winter but not in Feb - March as it can be really snowy and icy which some roads might possibly be block too!
This is one fun and adventurous solo road trip I've ever done!

Golden Gate Bridge, San Fransisco
Golden Gate Bridge is located in San Fransisco, California. It was built in 1930s. It’s looks really beautiful with its rustic color. It’s huge and can be walked from one end to another. It has park and various view points. So many people visit to see this architectural Marvel. Beach nearby gives more beautiful view and there are multiple points to see it. Each view point gives different view. In Evening during traffic rush, all vehicles lights makes it even more beautiful view. A must visit attraction in San Francisco. #goldengatebridge #sanfrancisco #california #bridge #architecture #urbanexplore #city #unitedstatesofamerica
The Palace of Fine Arts is a popular landmark which you should visit if you are in San Francisco. The recommended sightseeing time is half an hour or maximum one hour. It is a free attraction that features a beautiful architecture with domes and columns. It's set in a colorful park with lots of trees to sit back, relax, and enjoy the beauty of the city. Great place for a stroll to do with friends, family or even kids as you can sit on the grassy side where kids can play while you read or enjoy the architecture which is super ornate and stunning to look at. The park is open both day and night.

The Golden Gate Bridge.
The Golden Gate Bridge is a popular landmark which you should visit if you are in San Francisco. The recommended sightseen time is between one to two hours. I strongly recommend to visit this place during the day and during the night time, the lights makes the whole place to look stunning. Many of the spots to see this place are super touristic and crowded so you might want to do a little hike on the marshal beach to avoid the tourist buses full of people. Make sure you bring comfortable shows and some water specially if you are walking around in summer time as you won't find a shadow.

Sunset @ Golden Gate Bridge
Gorgeous sunset + Golden Gate Bridge view when we were in San Francisco earlier Feb'22.
We found the perfect spot to take all these beautiful photos and will not regret the mini hike up in the cold! Thankfully there were also not many other tourists around (due to covid), so we could spend some time enjoying the peace and quiet up there while being treated to a beautiful sunset! Definitely worth a visit!
Getting there - approx. 20 minutes drive from San Francisco Union Square
Attractions - Great view of the Golden Gate Bridge and the city!
Food & Restaurants - From there, it's a short drive to many highly reviewed meal places in San Francisco
