The risotto has the perfect texture. There is plenty of crunchy lobster 🦞 meat on top. The all-day breakfast with hamburger steak includes a not-too-dry hamburger steak, avocado 🥑 with chili 🌶️ flakes for extra flavor, fresh salad 🥗 with balsamic vinegar, mushrooms 🍄🟫, crispy bacon 🥓, and toast with plenty of honey 🍯. The classic English Earl Grey soufflé comes with 3 thick and fluffy soufflé pancakes. The sauce has a fragrant Earl Grey tea flavor but is not overly sweet. At Hyeopjea Beach there are hoards of stylish coffee shops to choose from here are 4 we tried… Price guide for an Americano approx ₩5000-₩6000 Beryl (pics 1-6) Beautifully styled coffee shop. Tucked away by the sea. Great place to watch the sunset. You can step out of the glass door and walk across the rocks down to the little coves. Inside the small space has been made to feel much bigger with mirrored circular ceiling feature and floor to ceiling windows. There are a number of small seating areas. Nice music and the sound of coffee being made. The cakes were delicious, recommend the mandarin flavoured cheesecake. We paid £15 for two coffees and cakes, not bad! Nice sheltered outside seating options available, but it was pretty cold the day we visited so opted for indoors. Slab coffee (pics 7-9) On the second floor of a multi-story building, overlooking the ocean. This coffee shop was my favourite for atmosphere, subdued lighting and relaxing music. Retro mugs were a unique feature and the seats and seating areas comfy. The staff were friendly and took pleasure in making a nice coffee. Lots of coffee options available. Comma (pics 10-14) Popular beach-side coffee shop with two floors of indoor seating plus roof seating. If you want insta photos this is the coffee shop for you! Feature window frame outside main door. First floor has a wooden swing and netted bed areas which frame the island and ocean. The amount of people bustling around trying to get the perfect photo distracted from a relaxing coffee break. Another negative on the day we visited was the Japanese pop music, which got a bit repetitive after a while. The americano was good and a huge mug so great value for money. WiFi only works on the ground floor. Besunroo (pics 15-16) Down a side street away from the main town, overlooking the sea facing east. Large spacious coffee shop with feature windows. Friendly staff, reasonably priced. The coffee was nice but not overly memorable. Nice place to sit and work. They sell a few souvenirs too. Kawakami is a located on a nice and quiet street. We had been walking around for quite some time and needed a place to sit for a while. May be grab a cup of coffee and something to eat. Since then I have visited kawakami 3 times. And have found each trip to be pleasant. I like that it is never crowded and that allows for a more personalised experience. It's got a decent selection in coffee and the cakes are impressive. Infact it is what i would recommend people. Tk get their coffee and try their pastries. They tend to get really crowded during afternoon timing as well as after dinner time where people wants to have a drinks and cake as well too. Currently the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf are having Christmas promotions where they got some festival drinks and cakes available too. I saw that they have mint falvour and I tell myself I must get them! I choosed the red velent drink with whipped cream and peppermint chocolate cake to have it as a snack. It was just right and the amount of mint tasted good too. Great coffee at Kaffe 16 in Chinatown in Kuala Lumpur. Perfectly steamed milk which brought out it's natural sweetness blended with nice bright and sightly bitter espresso in their Cappuccino. This is in contrast to their dirty latte which is espresso blended with cold milk with a chocolate rimmed glass which brought a nice bitterness to the cold milkiness of the cold milk espresso. The staff were attentive and attended to requests quickly and cleaned tables immediately once customers left which kept the cafe clean and uncluttered.
