Tulip garden in Amsterdam 💐🌷
🌷 The spring season in Amsterdam is probably the time when many people dream of visiting the tulip garden at least once. Because both the weather and the magnificence of the tulip garden are truly indescribable. Keukenhof Holland can be considered the most beautiful flower garden in the Netherlands. I'm glad that I got to visit it myself once in my life. I'm so impressed. 🥹
🌷 Travel: Keukenhof Express (Bus 858) is a round-trip bus from the airport to Keukenhof Tulip Garden. The price is 12 € ~ 468 ฿ and it takes 30 minutes (the bus stops in front of the tulip garden without having to walk any further).
🌷 Ticket price: The entrance fee is 20 € ~ 780 ฿ for 1 adult.
🌷 Opening hours: 21 March-12 May (each year it opens only around this time). You can buy tickets to the garden on trip.com. It's super convenient.
🌷 Tips: I would like to recommend that if you don't go very early, you should go after 1 pm and walk until the garden closes. The light is very beautiful. Plus, when the garden is about to close, there will be fewer people, so you can get solo photos without many people.

Windmill and Miffy in Amsterdam
Zaanse Schans is a unique part of the netherlands, full of wooden houses, mills, barns and workshops. And there are tonnes of miffy there too~
You can also go insider several windmills to take a look. There are also many shops that sell the wooden clogs , cheese and chocolates.
Definitely worth a visit to get a feel of the dutch tradition right here.
Be careful it is really windy here so wear something warmer as it tends to feel colder at this part due to the strong wind and water surroundings.#2024wish #decemberholiday

Spring with a sea of tulips
Skip the Keukenhof and venture to hillegom where there are tonnes of tulip fields where you can see sea of tulips in the farms and get close to them!
Hillegom is the place to be for tulips during spring. You may either drive there or take a train if you are coming from Amsterdam central . I would suggest to drive there if you could , otherwise stay at hotel nearby the station. In this way you can also rent a bicycle from the hotel and ride along the beautiful tulip fields! There are endless rows of tulips along the way that you can stop by for photos . As some fields are private you may not be able to enter it but still able to take photos from afar.
They are so beautiful that I cant take my eyes off them! Tulip Barn will be one of the farm open to public you can pay for a small fee ticket and get into the field to take tonnes of photos with the whole patch of tulip flowers! They have the purple
hyacinth and the daffodil too and a little walk more you can find the public area of daffodil flowers as well . This is a really flower haven during spring! Best to visit around mid April! Weather is perfect that isn’t too cold or too warm!
The blooming flower fields in and around Hillegom have an enormous attraction to visitors from all over the world. They are really sooo beautiful that i really recommend everyone to visit this heavenly place.
However as this is a spring top attraction be sure to book your accommodation early as it tends to hike up the price due to peak season.

Perfect Service Apartment near Amsterdam!
Stayed in this service apartment for 4 nights. It is such a great place as we are able to cook and you can also do your laundry at the first floor. We had a great room that was right on top on the 2nd floor. It was a really nice room for the both of us. Amsterdam is just 10mins away and the bus stop is right in front of the apartment. There are a lot of shops and supermarket (Albert Heijn) is just around the corner. We had walked further and found a huge market with lots of stuffs! The staff there are extremely helpful and nice and we love talking to them. A really safe place to stay and there have a staff on standby 24/7. Definitely would return here again.

Imagine walking into a medieval church and instead of the usual thing, you ended up surrounded by thousands of books in Dutch and English, well this is the Dominicanen bookshop in the heart of Maastricht in the Netherlands 🇳🇱
Well, this became one of my favorite bookshops that I visited in 2019 during that trip to Europe and it has been in my memory ever since, so I recommend it to anyone who is visiting the city.

Great Brunch @ Omelegg - De Pijp
#celebratewithtrip
The place for eggs (omelette, scrambled eggs, sunny-side up eggs) in Amsterdam ! You can really get a good omelet here with a wide selection. They also have gluten-free bread available. We enjoyed our brunch here. Prices are very reasonable.
They were super busy but turned the tables over pretty quickly and the service was good. Highly recommended.

Discover Amsterdam during a marathon
A fun way to discover a city is to run a marathon. The TCS Amsterdam Marathon takes place annually in October.
Around 45,000 runners take part in this international marathon, which is known for its fast and attractive course with start and finish in the Olympic Stadium, through the Vondelpark and under the Rijksmuseum.
In addition to the classic distance, the Mizuno Half Marathon, TCS 8 km and two events for youth are on the program. A real challenge for young and old!

The Star Vista Mall(Evening Jalan Jalan)
Star Vista is a mall located right beside bouna vista MRT where it is a unique more very different like the other malls in singapore.
The mall itself isn't air conditioned, and promotes eco friendly environment, but of course the shops in the mall are individually air-conditioned. Also if you look around in the mall, there are also many plants located around the mall and the mall extends with a high ceiling where you will see people sitting on the steps right by the foyer enjoying the cool air and also have dinner with friends at the steps instead of in the shops.
This is a uniquely mall in singapore for sure!

Neil’s Dutch Village - Michigan
#passionpassport
There is something for everyone so it's very family friendly. From the quaint Dutch villages to the amazing tulips and restaurants with delicious treats. In 1910, Frederick Nelis asked his son who was 17 at the time to come to America in search of some rich farm land. World War I was just ending and things in Europe were flat. So they came to America and began to grow vegetables.
There is so much fun stuff to do, all you need is the event space reserved. The Ferris wheel, swing ride, carousel, mini zip-line, Petal Pumper cars, large wooden shoe slide, and De Kinderboerderij Petting Zoo. #holland #michigan #travelusa
Amazing display of tulips!
Keukenhof Park is also known as the Garden of Europe. It is one of the world's largest flower gardens, situated in the municipality of Lisse, in the Netherlands. Keukenhof Park covers an area of 32 hectares and approximately 7 million flower bulbs are planted in the gardens annually. Keukenhof Park is widely known for its tulips, and it also features numerous other flowers, including hyacinths, daffodils, lilies, roses, carnations and irises.
Keukenhof is located in the province of South Holland, south of Haarlem and southwest of Amsterdam in the area called the "Dune and Bulb Region" (Duin- en Bollenstreek). It is accessible by bus from Haarlem and Leiden train stations as well as Schiphol. Though its grounds are open year-round for private affairs and festivals, Keukenhof is only open to the general public for a world-renowned 8 week tulip display from mid-March to mid-May, with peak viewing arriving near mid-April, depending on growing season weather, which varies annually
Getting There - By bus, train or private transport. We booked the keukenhof express bus with skip the line entry ticket into the park

Hotels - There are many hotels nearby to suit all budgets
Food & Restaurants - There are food carts and F&B outlet in the Keukenhof Park.

The Mini Orchard Road Of Singapore(Holland)
During Covid Holland Village was like a ghost town and before covid Holland Village is known as the mini orchard of Singapore!
Now it's time to visit Holland Village again, because the night life here is back! When the sun sets, the road will be close and restaurant and bar owners will extend their restaurant out of their shops and onto the road! With bars and live bands like the famous Wala Wala, Harry's or even Tango!
Holland Village will be packed especially on a Friday and Saturday night with people having drinks, or bbq at Omma Korean BBQ, or having Mexican food at chimichanga or cha cha cha Mexican restaurant or maybe u are craving for Japanese, there is an affordable Umi Nami that serves really good Japanese food at pocket friendly prices.
There is so much options here that you will generally be spoilt for choice! But do drop by earlier especially on weekend as most restaurants are fully packed out.

Early Morning Breakfast Yums!
Holland Village is filled with Restaurants, Bars and Cafe where the majority of the shops here opens at either 11am or 5pm for the Holland V night life!
What about the early birds? Fret-Not! Because there are cafes that are already open at 7.30am in the morning especially in Chip Bee Gardens which is located right beside the Holland V circle line. It's a row of shop houses in white away from the main Holland Village area. Its a very chill quiet area among the residences.
There are 3 cafes that are open daily, Tiong Bahru Bakery, Bakery and Cook & Arabica Coffee! And for coffee lovers, these places all sell really good aromatic coffees and serves pastries, cakes and awesome sourdough bread(in loaves too!). A MUST HAVE for me is the Tiong Bahru Bakery Kougaimann, oh boy its irresistibly good! After a weekday early morning ride, this is a place where I usually go to for my breakkie fix! Try it!

#tripaway I will always keep Amsterdam in my heart as one of the most charming cities I’ve ever been to! Amsterdam is colloquially known as Venice of the North because of its lovely canals that criss-cross the city, its impressive architecture and more than 1,500 bridges. There is something for every traveller's taste here; whether you prefer culture and history, serious partying, or just the relaxing charm of an old European city. #amsterdam #holland #netherlands #europe

Amsterdam canals
One of the most beautiful things I love to do in Amsterdam is just walking along the canals (and get lost!:), watching the beauty of the city reflected on the water.
Shops, small restaurants, cafes and bar are all along the way, including lovely houses with their huge windows and open curtains and boat houses too.
The best period to go it’s during spring or autumn, when the weather is not much rainy and you can enjoying the green of the trees and the colors of flowers.

The St Petersburg of Holland
We visited here and spent some wonderful minutes taking in the square and looking at the lovely church and city hall.
Since the 12th century, every Thursday there is a big market on the Delft central market square. In the late 14th century, the New Church was built and occupies some of the space, still leaving a very generous 120x45 squared meters of area in place.
The architecture is amazing, particularly that of the new church and town hall.
We explored a little and found the world famous blue heart of Delft for a photo opportunity.
Such stunning buildings, all surviving from the Golden Age of renaissance Delft.
Many restaurants with terraces and souvenir shops are located around the market, most are not tourist traps but with good quality and service.
Things got even better when a local cheese shop offered us free cheese to stay warm in the chilly weather.
There are many porcelain shops but this one is one of the better to shops to get your Delftware porcelain.
Everywhere people are friendly and helpful.
It was a pleasure to take in this gem and walk the cobblestone streets and cross the canals and hear all about the history of Delft.
The marketplace area has a quintessential European atmosphere beautiful with charming aspects.
Definitely worth a visit!
