Attractions - Aesthetic ambience to get your perfect shots like in those TV ads! Try to avoid visiting this cafe over the weekend as it could get really flusttered with people that you might not get a chance to have ur non-photobombed pictures 🫠 They have a really pretty vintage jukebox that you wouldn't wanna miss Food & Restaurants - They do not really serve food, but coke alone (TBH) Shopping - None of the items are for sale nor up for grabs. So many free playgrounds for the kids though the paid ones are at great value too! Our 3.5 years old toddler had a great busy day out there and ended her fun with the rooftop water playground with a shower facility just beside it. Level 2 outside ikea has 2 dry playgrounds and the rooftop one has a wet and dry one side by side. We went on a weekend but the crowd was manageable. It's so refreshing to see growing numbers of mall in Malaysia that started to have a rooftop garden design as their signature to attract people to come to the mall. This is also a good way to educate the people especially the younger generation to appreciate our environment and to save our planet. Toppen rooftop garden is such a breath of fresh air place to hangout with your family or friends after a long shopping inside the mall. Either to sit around and enjoy the nature or just a chitchat while having a good comfort meal. There's a liveband performances in the evening session at the open theater too. This is The Parenthood indoor playground at Toppen Shopping Centre, JB. It is huge, easy to find, spacious and multi levels! Look at the big ball pit they have! We bought our tickets online and it was cheaper by a few dollars. The tickets online also came with a snack and a plain water. Tickets from their counter don’t include these. Besides this engaging playground for kids, there is also a separate smaller play area, well padded and colourful, for the toddlers. There was a queue on the school holiday weekend we went, but the queue moved fast and staff are polite and efficient despite the crowd. Also, there are rest areas for adults, but don’t expect a space with the crowds. Do visit to let your kids expend their energy! #toppen #indoorplayground #kidsfun

#travelanywhere Just jetted back from a fantastic trip to Johor Bahru (JB)! My home base for this whirlwind adventure was the Princess Cove hotel, which provided a relaxing and comfortable stay. A definite highlight was indulging my love for cats at the charming cat cafe located inside Komtar JB. Sipping on a latte surrounded by playful felines was the purrfect way to unwind after a long journey. Of course, no JB trip is complete without some retail therapy! I hit up all the major shopping malls – Toppen, Aeon Tebrau, and City Square. From local Malaysian boutiques to international brands, I found everything from trendy clothes and souvenirs to delicious snacks. Toppen definitely takes the cake for its vast variety of stores, while Aeon Tebrau offered a delightful mix of shops and a supermarket for grabbing some travel essentials. City Square provided a vibrant atmosphere and trendy cafes to refuel in between shopping sprees. Overall, my JB trip was a delightful mix of relaxation, cute cat encounters, and satisfying shopping sprees. I can't wait to return and explore more of this exciting city!
