Neuschwanstein Castle: A Fairytale Come to Life
#europetrip #füssen #castle
Visiting Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany felt like stepping into a storybook. Nestled in the Bavarian Alps, this 19th-century masterpiece, commissioned by King Ludwig II, is often called the "real-life fairytale castle," and it’s easy to see why. Its soaring towers, intricate details, and dramatic setting against lush green hills and rugged mountains are truly magical. The view from the Marienbrücke bridge is breathtaking, offering the perfect vantage point to admire the castle’s grandeur. Inside, the lavishly decorated rooms reflect Ludwig’s love for myths and Wagnerian operas, adding to the castle’s enchanting allure. Exploring this iconic landmark, I couldn’t help but feel like I was living in a dream.
Travel to Germany
Climb the mountain to see the snow at Tegelbergbahn in Fussen, Germany. It's very beautiful. The atmosphere is very good. I really want to go again. I like it. The people are lovely. It's very cold, but I like it very much. It was my first time going there, but it was very good. I have to say that Germany is a country as beautiful as its reputation. But the places are very old and charming. Each place is at least 50-100 years old. #füssen #germany
neuschawanstein castle
Neuschwanstein Castle is very beautiful, especially in the fall. The colors are very beautiful. You can drive or take a bus to see the castle and walk to Marie Bridge. Taking pictures from the bridge is very beautiful. I recommend you to visit. It's like a castle in a fairy tale. This castle is also the prototype of the castle in Disneyland. It's like being a princess walking in the castle. Next time I want to come in the winter when there is snow, it should be very beautiful. #Travel Germany #fussen
Neuschwanstein Castle
It is a beautiful castle, built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria to be an example of a shuttled stylized medieval castle, decorated with myths and excerpts from Wagner operas. Visit to this Disney inspiration and what is an apparent fairy tale castle is a must. Book your tickets online to secure a spot to tour the inside of the castle.
The MarienBrücke (Maria Bridge) is a steel bridge next to the Neuschwanstein castle. The bridge was first constructed from wood in 1845 by King Maxmillian II of Bavaria. The bridge offers a great and unique view of Neuschwanstein Castle and a beautiful photo opportunity.

Speisen und Getränke
We came this restaurant after we visited Neuschwanstein Castle and Maria Bridge.
We ordered pork knuckles and potatoes salad. When they serve the food, it’s really impress us with the swan decoration. The food deco is Instagramable but the food quality was average especially the pork knuckle dish. The beer was good. It is HB, I love it.
The price is reasonable as it is located in the tourist place.
