Salzburg is the most solo trip that I most recommended, because the town and scenery are nice! people are friendly and helpful, and they able to communicate with fluent English, so you will never facing any challenges of communicate breakdown. Food are really nice and quite safe for a lady to travel alone. You may take a local tour to go other attractions. Residenzplatz is a large, stately public square in the old town of Salzburg and also the largest square in the old town. There's some really beautiful buildings surrounding the square such as Residenzgalerie Residenz Palace, the Glockenspiel and Salzburg Cathedral. At the centre of the square is the Residenz Fountain. Plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes around the square as well. Architecture that will leave you stunned. #celebratewithtrip Akakiko Japanese Restaurant is in Forum 1 in Salzburg central station. The restaurant offered various japanese cuisine and Korean chicken specialties. We went there twice to dine in during our stay in Salzburg. The food were great, the price were affordable and the place was very accessible. The restaurant was always full during our visit. My favourite was the red rice and the miso soup. They mouth-watering and I would highly recommend the restaurant! #celebratewithtrip Salzburg is such a nice place to visit with its glamorous charm and historical beauty. It took us about 3 hours by car to reached Salzburg from Garmisch-Partenkirchen due to traffic and border check. Salzburg was our last destination for our roadtrip before going back to Frankfurt. Taking the train from Munich is way faster but if you want to see the other parts of the Alps, driving is I think, the best deal. It might be tiresome but it is worth it! Our hotel was very near from the city center and the Altstadt, so it was easy for us to reached all the landmarks and beautiful sights by foot. #celebratewithtrip St. Peter‘s cemetery is an oldest cemetery in Salzburg. It is on the foot of Hohensalzburg Castle. Visiting the cemetery was like a walk from the past. There were tombs that were really old and even century older! It was a very quiet place even it‘s in the heart of the city where plenty of tourists busy sightseeing while their tourist guides explained the landmarks. The place was somewhat like a museum. It was well taken cared of, as were there, the gardeners and the care taker of the cemetery were busy cleaning and maintaining the area! The flower beds were best maintained. #celebratewithtrip This was the hotel where we stayed during our Salzburg vacation. Atel Hotel Lasserhof is near the Salzburg main train station, stores and restaurants. The hotel room was spacious enough for 3 persons. The price was fair considering that it is so near at the city center, just some minutes away from the Fortress and the Mirabell castle. The hotel offers breakfast which was included in the price. I must say, the food they served were good although it was a typical European breakfast but it was a lot with plenty of choices like white and dark bread, cake, croissants, cold cuts and salami, scrambled and boiled eggs, different cereals, different flavoured yoghurt, milk, assorted juices, coffee, tea, some fruits and vegetables like paprika, cucumber, carrots, tomatoes, apples, pear, melon and grapes. Set near a border with Germany, #salzburg is a very special place with old and new intermixed. It is divided by the Salzach river and the old town still has medieval buildings. The river itself is an amazing sight and if you find a nice high spot in the city, you can take in the entire sight including majestic views of the Eastern Alps. #wheretogo Since we were in the Salzburg airport and had some time to kill, we decided to check out Hangar-7 at Salzburg Airport. It is a unique building which houses the historical Flying Bulls aircraft fleet and a collection of Formula 1 race cars. As a fan of F1, we were amazed! They have extremely amazing display of Red Bull F1 cars, aircrafts, helicopters. It is also perfectly located with beautiful mountains in the backdrop which makes very nice photographs. The building looks awesome both interior and exterior. The cherry on the top is that the entry is free of cost! There is also a merchandise shop where you can buy quality merchandise ranging from caps, T-shirts, coffee mugs to small scale replicas of F1 cars. Of course, it would be nice to buy a can of Redbull from the vending machine and immerse yourself in the overall environment. It's definitely worth a visit!
