#familytravel During my summer vacation, I visited Miniworld Rotterdam, and it was a delightful experience! This indoor miniature world showcases Rotterdam and other Dutch landscapes in incredible detail. The entrance fee is about €14, which felt like a great deal given how intricate and immersive the exhibits are. The tiny replicas of landmarks, bustling city scenes, and even working trains were mesmerizing. Nearby, I took a stroll through the Rotterdam city center and marveled at the modern architecture, which contrasts beautifully with the classic miniature scenes at Miniworld. The Markthal, with its vibrant food stalls and stunning ceiling artwork, was a fantastic spot for lunch. It is a residential and office building with a market hall on the ground floor. The Market Hall got variety of shops,restaurants and cafe that sell international cuisines, fruits, cheese, seafood and many more. It also has supermarket in it. The Market Hall is renowned for its striking house shape design and interior of the building is a vast open space with ceiling covered with colourful fruits, vegetables and flowers. It is a special and beautiful building to visit. The Market Hall is definitely a nice choice to have gathering with friends with nice foods and drink. Business Hours: 10am - 8pm (Monday to Thursday, Saturday), 10am - 9pm (Friday), 12pm - 6pm (Sunday) Reasons to Recommend: design of the building and food I want to travel to Hong Kong to enjoy their food in their market.

Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen the name A place nice for photo, from far you can see it as giant bowl or cup with mirror alike glass. It reflected the clear and nice sky in Rotterdam. Kinderdijk Delights

30 mins away from Rotterdam is a small village called Kinderdijk. It is a UNESCO heritage. It is famous for its 18th century windmills. And to believe that people actually lived in Windmills back then, some of them still do. I left a piece of my heart there. It’s a beautiful village with wonderful people. innovative Cube House in Rotterdam

This line of cubic shape houses called the Cubehouse was built nearly 40 years ago and located in the center of Rotterdam. Each apartment has three levels and is accessed by steep staircase. The interior is cleverly designed and includes all the usual rooms such as bedrooms , kitchen, bathroom, and even an attic to chill out . While all of the apartments are for residential purposes, one of them is opened to visitors as a museum with a small entrance fee of £3. #myhiddengems During my summer vacation, I visited Plaswijckpark in Rotterdam, and it was a blast! This family-friendly park offers a mix of fun activities and attractions for all ages. Entrance was around €16, which is quite reasonable for the amount of entertainment on offer. Cube Houses

Cube houses are a set of innovative houses built in Helmond and Rotterdam in the Netherlands, designed by architect Piet Blom and based on the concept of "living as an urban roof": high density housing with sufficient space on the ground level, since its main purpose is to optimise the space inside. Blom tilted the cube of a conventional house corner upwards, and rested it upon a hexagon-shaped pylon. His design represents a village within a city, where each house represents a tree, and all the houses together, a forest.
