In Wuchang District, Egret Street, also known as "flower road," is truly a sight to behold! 🌸 On March 29th, a reporter from the Yangtze River Daily visited at the invitation of the Wuchang District Greening Team and discovered a stunning array of 12 different flower varieties in full bloom, some of which are rare in Wuhan. 🌺 Starting from the Fruit Lake Station exit B of subway line 8, turn left onto Egret Street, where you'll be greeted by the beautiful sight of a Chinese flowering apple tree with white and pink blossoms. 🍎🌸
Continuing along the belt park towards Swan Road, you'll come across red leaves and blue peaches, creating a stunning contrast to the previous begonia. 🍃 Nearby, a weeping willow dances in the breeze, its new leaves harmonizing with the peach blossoms, creating a picturesque scene of "peach red willow green." 🌿🌸
Near the red-leaf peaches, you'll find two types of bauhinia: the giant bauhinia, with tall trees covered in purple flowers, and the native redbud trees, only a few meters tall but full of flowers, including one rare tree blooming from top to bottom. 🌳💜
Further along, near the water, two Sunai Yoshino cherry trees stand, one nearing the end of its bloom while the other is in full splendor, its petals falling like snow in the breeze. 🌸❄️ Tourists, like Ms. Zeng from Foshan, Guangdong, are captivated by the beauty, eager to share their experiences on WeChat Moments. 📸
On the opposite side of the road, a green belt boasts 70 cherry trees of three varieties, including Yoshino and Prunus oshima, with the latter already bearing small green fruits, adding to the spectacle of flowers, leaves, and fruit on the branches. 🌳🍒 #FlowerRoad #WuchangBeauty
