The hotel is in a great location, being an easy walk to many tourist attractions. Our superior room was of ample size, but had lots of unused space. The full length windows opened onto a faux balcony which offered views of the clock tower, the nearby square and interesting buildings. The bathroom was small, but serviceable. As a Titanium Discovery member, I was given a nice plate of cakes, a bottle of water and a room upgrade. Staff were friendly and efficient. Pre-stay emails were responded to promptly, questions answered and requests granted. Breakfast was fine with a good selection of cold cuts, bread and bakery items, juices, food warmers with the usual offerings plus eggs to order.

I do not recommend staying at the B&B Hotel - Graz Hbf -- details are below, but to sum it up, the condition of the hotel room was not appropriate for guests and we should not have been booked, and nothing was done to resolve the horrible smell in the room. My family and I booked two rooms for a weekend in July to stay in Graz to attend the Austrian Grand Prix, and have a hotel in close proximity to the train station. Because there were 4 people in our group, we needed to book two rooms. We were traveling with our young children so we requested rooms near to each other and were assigned rooms next door to each other. The smell and odor in one of the rooms that I was staying in with one of my children was horrible. It was coming from the shower drain, like something was rotting or clogged in there. It smelled as though someone vomited or put something decaying in the shower drain, along with cigarette smoke. It made the entire room smell disgusting. I spoke to the front desk attendant on Saturday morning and was told housekeeping would attend to it immediately. When we returned Saturday evening after being away all day, the smell was still overpowering. I was told the hotel was full and nothing could be done for us. I had the nighttime desk attendant come up to smell the room. I again spoke to the front desk attendant on Sunday morning and was told the room had been checked but nothing could be done. I asked her to please go into the room to understand the terrible smell and to move our room for Sunday night. We were moved to another room that evening since there were rooms available then. Even though it was not very warm outside, both rooms were also very warm, the air conditioning not appearing to be working. The windows did not have screens on them, so if we opened them to try to cool off the rooms (and also to air out the smell in the one room), the room would fill with moths. The condition of the one room was not appropriate for a guest to stay in, and it was an even bigger problem that no one could do anything to fix it. The multiple people at the hotel desk that we spoke with said nothing could be done because it was a weekend and the hotel was full on the Saturday evening. We were unable to sleep because the rooms were so warm and the smell in the one room made us feel ill. They could not provide a cot or roll-away so that all of us could stay in one room instead. I was later told by the hotel management: ”On Saturday morning the room was immediately checked after you spoke with the front deck, and the shower drain was opened and deeply cleaned. We just found out later that it didn't help, as it should, because a brand new part of the drain was needed.” Clearly from this message, there was a serious issue with the plumbing in the room. The condition of the room was not appropriate for guests to stay in it, and we should not have been placed there. What a great place to stay,just out of city centre but easy access in to town with a punctual and efficient tram and bus network. Originally booked the basic room (cheapest) upgraded when I got there and well worth the little extra with a balcony also. The staff were helpful and friendly and I look forward to returning pretty soon...

The hotel looks new. Designed in minimalist way, cutting down costs while serving the essentials. A hostel, effectively. Located over 15 minutes away by car from the city centre, the hotel offers free carpark to attract residents. Public transport is less reliable. Breakfast is cheap (€10.5), choice is understandably little. In short, it is quiet, clean and simple.

Just in the center of the city, there is a one-way line on the side, and the friend who drives the car is going to drive carefully for the first time. Very good location, very close to the main attractions, walking distance, a little far from the castle. The hotel was originally an ancient building, the floor was slamming, and the hotel was filled with potted plants. Breakfast is plentiful.

In Graz for a customer meeting and stayed in Grand Hotel Wiesler Graz for 3 nights (Jan 18 to Jan 21). Truly enjoyed this stay, Five Star for sure. The facility was built in 1909 (guessed from its WiFi password), yet the interior is very modern. The staff was very friendly and responsive, and the breakfast was the best we ever had in Europe. The hotel is in a premium location, with Tram #1, 4,6,7 connecting to the train station,

The hotel recommended by the colleague, because the hotel next to the hotel suddenly increased the price, temporarily chose his home, the location is also very good, the European hotels are not too bad, the service is general, there are several restaurants downstairs, the overall feeling is OK.

The scenery is very beautiful. The hotel faces the mountain and there is a balcony to enjoy the scenery. The hotel has an open kitchen with all the pots and pans available, which is very convenient. The price on Ctrip is not expensive.

My husband was born in Austria and grew up in Leoben. This hotel is awful. The beds are good, the rooms are clean, the breakfast is decent and the location is quiet. It was probably 3 am, and I'd had enough. I reached for a phone to call the front desk but there was no phone. I dressed and went downstairs for help, but no one was there. I checked the refrigerator, not it, opened the window, turned off the air-conditioner, not it. I went back to bed and stacked again as many pillows as could be found over my head to cover my ears as much as possible but got no relief. There was a sound, a terrible intermittent sound lasting the night long and into the morning. A sound that is probably still there. A low tonal vibration for five seconds every 30 seconds. A relentlessly, tortuously, repetitive noise loud enough to penetrate the pillows, penetrate the mind, and drive a sane person mad. And on and on and on, and when it was possible to inform the front desk, an arrogant, little snip had the temerity to take me outside onto the sidewalk, outside onto the street, point to an exterior placard placed as advertisement, and said ”this is a number I should have called”. Yeah right, go outside the hotel with the security doors closing behind me at three in the morning to by chance find a number to call? Do not stay at this hotel. There are other hotels in Leoben where I have stayed and been treated nicely and respectfully and given the chance for a night's sleep without torture and a rude response. Embarrassing for Leoben.

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was great. The room door lock had some issues and kept demagnetizing the card, but it was a minor issue. The only minor disappointment was that the gym only had one bike and no free weights.

Das Apartment mit Wohnbereich, Küchenzeile, separatem Schlafzimmer und Terrasse war sehr gepflegt. Altstadt war mit S-Bahn (Haltestelle um die Ecke) leicht erreichbar. Lage des Hotels eher geschäftlich geprägt (Nähe Messe Graz). Supermärkte in Laufnähe. Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich.

This hotel is very modern and very clean. The service here is wonderful. The furniture in the rooms give you the vibe of an IKEA showroom. The WIFI internet is SUPERB. You are minutes from downtown and the happenings. This hotel has a wonderful bar. There is a McDonalds that sits across the street and on the other side of that is Messe Congress Graz arena. You will surely enjoy your comfortable stay here.

Because some flights either go premature or late, it was advisable to look for a hotel at the airport. It was important that the reception was open specially for the evening to not desperately enter codes on night door openers when the first fatigue appears. The rooms are small but very clean and (to the airport) to the trains passing you get used to quickly. The other room escape is very quiet. Alexa has surprised us; which works on the upside and (who has not yet) was good to test. Another surprise was breakfast - from 6:30 - which was very, very rich and thus this hotel is quite cheap. At foot you reach the airport in 10 to 13 min. , with the road mostly protected by the weather. Also from sun!

The location is on the outskirts of Graz. It is best to drive there. The room facilities are good, and everything should be available. If you go to check in on a non-working day, remember to call for the password and pick up the room card yourself.

This hotel is easy to get to and it only 10 mins drive to the airport. There is parking around the hotel and I was charged €8 to park overnight. I didn’t see any options for a hotel bus shuttle and in a previous stay I paid €20 for a taxi to/from the hotel My room was quite big with lots of room. The room looks updated and modern and there was a comfortable king bed, flat screen TV (hardly any English speaking channels) work table, lounge chair and side table to relax in. The room had air conditioning with an old thermostat, you could hear the air conditioning running but even if it was on for a long time I didn’t feel the room getting any cooler. In fact I had to open the window in the evening to cool the room down, I was facing the busy motorway so there was a lot of road noise from the open window. The bathroom was a good size, with room to put toiletries at the sink and a good shower Wifi was available throughout the hotel and worked fine. The hotel does have a fitness room but I didn’t use it. The hotel does have a small mini market at reception that you can buy snacks. There is a bar and restaurant at the hotel I only stayed one night and the restaurant was only doing a buffet dinner at that time. I arrived to eat barely 20 minutes after the restaurant opened, but the food presented looked and tasted as if it had been sitting out for hours. The pork dish was oily, overcooked and chewy, the chips were a mixture of undercooked and overcooked and barely warm, the bread felt and tasted a couple of days old, the pasta was stodgy and the sauce was congealed. The salad, fruit and dessert options were fresh, but the selection was small. For the price of €20 I was disappointed I also had breakfast the next morning, it was €16, and again the food wasn’t that tasty and there was a limited selection Overall this hotel is clean comfortable hotel if you are staying before a flight, and I would stay here again, although I would be eating elsewhere

The mountain top is nice and quiet

I can only recommend the hotel warmest! The room was beautiful and the view from the balcony was a dream. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Even our dogs were thought and provided beds or snaps (without surcharge!!) For our daughter was a cozy grilled bed in which she was happy to sleep for the first time.

First impressions were not good - check in was supposed to be at 3pm, we arrived at 4pm and were told the room would be ready in 30-60 mins. Ok no problem, we wandered around the small town and came back an hour later but the room was still not ready and ended up sat in the lobby for half an hour doing nothing. Got much better after that though, the mountain view room had an incredible view and the room was very clean. Dinner was good with the same amazing view, breakfast had a decent selection and service was excellent throughout. The pool and spa seemed great, shame we didn't have time to use them and given that this is quite an expensive hotel, we felt pretty short changed with the late check in.

It's nice resort helpful staff. We stayed in Studio for a week as part of RCI. We used Mondi as base to travel to Hallstatt and Salzburg. Positive: Good Location with Wonderful view of the Lake, Nice walk to surrounding area around the lake. Negative:- Kitchen Outdated, No Microwave, Lot of renovations ongoing.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Spa Hotel Erzherzog Johann. Our room was very spacious and nice, as was the bathroom. We also had a nice sized balcony. We didn't realize that we had half board and received dinner each night but we thoroughly enjoyed it as it was plentiful and delicious. The breakfast was also excellent with a very large selection. We seemed to be the only English speakers staying at the hotel in this rather remote area, although most of the staff spoke English and were very nice and helpful. The indoor/outdoor pool was lovely and we took a swim everyday. The only bad experience we had and it was NOT the fault of the hotel, was on the Saturday night we were there, someone had a wedding reception right outside the hotel, which went on, with very loud techno music, until after 3 in the morning. We would highly recommend this spot!
