I recently stayed at this hotel, and while there were some positive aspects, my experience was a bit disappointing overall. Pros:• The room was quite spacious, which I appreciated, as it gave me plenty of room to relax. Cons:• The water pressure in the shower was very low, making it difficult to enjoy a proper shower. • I specifically requested a room with an airport view, but instead, I was given a room facing the back of the hotel, which was not what I had hoped for. • I was also placed in a connecting room, which I didn’t feel was very safe. I had to pull the sofa to block the connecting door for added security, which was inconvenient and uncomfortable Overall, while the space was nice, the low water pressure, incorrect view, and safety concerns with the connecting room left me unsatisfied with my stay.

Although I had to call reception thrice for the baby cot to be brought to the room but my 3 days 2 night stay was great, at least my baby enjoyed his stay.. but the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night yet no announcement and all be made (I think this part need to at least tell all the guests if it’s safe or what).. also, splendid view but still like higher floor where when I made a phone call to the hotel to confirm my booking, she told me she’ll arrange 14th floor but when I got there I got 10th floor 😂

Few times came here and never get bored with the cleanliness and tidiness of this hotel.. Just need to improve the TV channels. Perhaps can connect the android TV to internet so that can netflix and chill inside the room. Thank you☺️☺️

Sheraton Kuching is a wonderful hotel for families, offering a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, providing plenty of space for families to relax. The hotel also features a variety of family-friendly amenities, including a beautiful pool and great dining options. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional service from all the staff, very helpful qnd we did enjoyed our time here. Thank you Isaac at the reception. Assist me during check out. His friendly and professional service really made our experience memorable. Overall, Sheraton Kuching is a fantastic choice for families, with excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere! The room is sooo nice, the housekeeping also very clean! Oh surely will repeat again. Tq.

Room ok, good enough for 1 pax, but got that weird unpleasant smell in hotel corridor, maybe due to the humidity 🤧. Breakfast is good, not many options provided but still enough to fuel your body for 1 day trip around Kuching. Location is walkable distance within the river. Overall, highly recommend if looking for budget place to stay.

The hotel is in the midst of renovation. Upon arrival, the hotel upgraded my room from the king size bed room to the business suite. Reasonably good experience. Thank you.

in the centre of downtown what more can u ask for and for me it’s the best hotel boutique for traveller to enjoy their stay here with easy adjacent to the Plaza Merdeka Mall via Lobby Floor and Level 4 link to Mall FoodPlaza for people’s to meet. highly recommend to everyone for best amenities and river/city view with Club Floor or normal floor for u to enjoy the serenity’s. furthermore the Level 13 if a must to visit for sunset view’s and chills with the love one’s.

A luxury 3star hotel with old design but maintenance for the condition of property still acceptable. Hygiene and Cleanliness is maintained. Only things the property is not a high building, is only 5 story and some of the room are without view (Face 2 Face to others room). I had paid for 20 Ringgit for the hill view instead.

We stayed in Tower B for two nights to attend wedding function. Room comes with a good view of Rajang River. Our room was with key card and nice view ,whereas we saw a friend's room in Tower A which is using a key, no view and older toilet ( water easily collected around bathtub and spilled on toilet follow while showering causing toilet to be wet), and thinner bath towel provided. Although our room only comes with 2 pillows and no ironing board , but it was provided free upon request by room service. Hotel has a hair salon conveniently located inside, and surrounded by food eateries.

Also, I was disappointed to find the amenities provided only for one person instead of two. But overall, I enjoyed my time.

This place is sold purely due to location. Everything else is worn out, run down and drab. They really should refurbish not just the rooms but also the entire establishment, from amenities to decorations. It just seems everything is falling apart - tiles, fixtures and even the restaurant. Their staff, although friendly, are not excited at all to attend to us. Dullness everywhere.

Stayed at a hotel just opposite the famous Cat Statue in Kuching, and overall, it was a decent experience. The location is definitely the highlight – everything is within walking distance, and there’s even a sampan service right behind the hotel, which made it really convenient to explore the area. The room itself was okay. The aircond worked well – maybe a bit too well since it was freezing cold at times. The bed was on the harder side, not exactly my preference. The bathroom looked a bit dated, with a bathtub included, but honestly, I would’ve preferred a separate shower and tub. However, one thing that could be improved is the bathrobe – it was way too thin. Breakfast was okay, especially since they served local favorites like Sarawak Laksa and Kolo Mee. In short, great location, decent breakfast, but the room comfort could be better. Perfect for a short stay if you want easy access to tourist spots.

The food was delicious, with a great variety of options on the menu, and the staff provided excellent service. The aircond in our room need about 10 - 15 minutes till it feels cold. Thanks to their staff for helping cause we thought that the aircond is not functioning.

The room are very clean and the hotel services are excellent. I will come back to this hotel for my next trip to Miri. Besides, the parking are very convenience too with the auto parking facility.

The place was just nice, near to the shopping centre.They should improve the car park area, need to provide parking lot for hotel guests only, it's took me a hour to find available parking, especially during lunch time. For the room,there are cockroaches in my room. Luckily they move us to the nicer room. But there's noisy from the construction outside during rest time. So far i like this hotel, nice breakfast as well.

Friendly front desk, change upper floor room to us when I request. Easy to find restaurants and bistro around, a big shopping mall was at corner. Will come back again.

I recently had a one-night stay at Jinhold Hotel and Apartment in Miri during a transit stop, and here is my review: Strengths: -Affordable and Budget-Friendly: At just SGD 60 per night, this hotel offers excellent value for travelers seeking convenience without breaking the bank. -Prime Location with Exceptional Accessibility: The hotel is ideally located directly across from Miri Airport, making it a perfect choice for transit travelers or those with early flights. The complimentary hourly shuttle van service was especially helpful. For our 8 AM flight, we needed to be at the airport by 6 AM for check-in and baggage drop, and the shuttle service provided seamless transportation without the hassle of arranging additional transport. -Secure Parking Facilities: An added benefit was the option to rent a parking space in the hotel’s basement. We opted to leave our car there at a reasonable rate of RM53 per night. The facility was secure, giving us peace of mind while we were away. -Spacious and Functional Accommodations: The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with the essential amenities one would expect from a transit hotel. While the facilities were simple, they were practical and met our basic needs comfortably. Areas for Improvement: -Elevator Reliability: One of the elevators presented some issues during our stay. It lacked air-conditioning, and its performance was somewhat erratic. Upon our return to pick up our car, we noted that the same elevator was out of service entirely, which was inconvenient for guests needing access to the basement parking. -Bed Design Flaws: The bed’s structure could use significant improvement. It consisted of two mattresses placed on a wooden platform, but the edges of the mattresses tended to tilt outward. This created an unstable sleeping experience and gave the impression that one might roll off the bed if not positioned carefully. Conclusion: Overall, Jinhold Hotel and Apartment is a highly convenient and budget-conscious option for transit travelers. Its proximity to Miri Airport, coupled with the free shuttle service and secure parking facilities, makes it an appealing choice. Despite minor issues with the elevator and bed design, the practicality and affordability outweigh these drawbacks. I would consider staying here again for the convenience it provides.

1. Cleanliness 10/10 - everything was very clean which to me was top priority!  2. Room Amenities 7/10 - everything was provided except there was zero hooks in the bathroom to hang our clothes for change after shower/ wet bath towel. There was only one bar to hang one towel which was odd when the room can be occupied by two. Also, the mini fridge was broken and we didn’t get a replacement unit, but instead was asked to store our items in their fridge downstairs and collect when needed 😅 3. Service 9.5/10 - staff was generally helpful and polite. Only one issue was I couldn’t get extra facial tissue / toilet tissue after the housekeeping was closed which was fairly inconvenient.  4. Food/ Room Service 9.5/10 - Food from the restaurant generally tasted good, fresh and the service was fairly fast. We pre-ordered our breakfast and they delivered on time in the morning which was great! ;) The only downside is they are closed on Monday, which is weird as I thought room service is supposed to be 24/7 🤔 5. Location 10/10 - there are many eateries nearby and marts too which made it super convenient to get supplies & food, all within 2-5 mins of walking distance. There was also a mall opposite the hotel which was great as well however I didn’t get to venture out much as my friend was sick.

Very nice and comfy resort hotel! We are welcomed by the bell boy helping us with the luggage with big smiles and greetings. The front desk politely ask for us to rest at lobby or can go for nearby shopping while we were waiting for the room to be ready ( we were early). They gives us plenty of drinking waters to make sure we stay hydrated! Swimming pool is big and nice ( they have several baby pool, and a big pool with various depths). It was nice as they also provide us complementary dinner for 2 ( our booking comes with breakfast for 3 adults, kiddo is additional RM30). I would like to complement the restaurant staff - Rita who has given us the utmost great hospitality and flexibility as we request to pack food to go instead of dinning in ( dinner). Overall I am impressed by this 5- star hospitality of Marriott. They never let me down with their superb services.

Lock on our door didn't work so were moved to another room with a double bed which was small and very bouncy. Then moved to another room which smelt of cigarette smoke...non-smoking hotel but guests ignore that. Breakfast was okay. Options for Western and Malay tastes. The pool area is lovely to sit out in the evening with a view over the city and ocean in the distance. The staff at this hotel are very helpful, want to make sure you are comfortable and always smiling
