2024 Global 100 - Best Things to Do
Amusement parks

I went there during Christmas, and the atmosphere was much stronger than usual. There was a drone show during the Christmas lighting ceremony, which was good because it wasn't usually there. The more fun rides were the minecart roller coaster and the newly opened ice age roller coaster.

The Hong Kong Observation Wheel offers stunning panoramic views of Victoria Harbour and the city skyline. A great spot for capturing breathtaking photos, especially during sunset or the Symphony of Lights show. A must-try!

There are two ways of transportation 1. Take the 15 or X15 bus from the Star Ferry Pier, 30-40 minutes to the Peak, 14.9 Hong Kong dollars, which is quite convenient, and there is basically no queue. You can use WeChat and Alipay for 9. 2. Take the cable car near Central🚠You need to queue for 15 minutes to reach the top of the mountain. There are two viewing platforms on the top of the mountain, one is the Peak Tower, which is charged, and the other is the top of the shopping mall. If you go there for the first time, it is recommended to go to the Peak Tower. The view is better, the ticket is 75, and Ctrip is more than 60. If you go there for the second time, you can go to the free viewing platform, but it is better to go when the weather is clear. If there is heavy fog and you can't see clearly, you can go to the free viewing platform, and you won't waste your money. The consumption on the top of the mountain is still relatively high. It's up to you to save money. The location where I took the photo is free, and the opposite side is charged.

2024 Asia 100 - Best Things to Do
Museums
旅游达人000001
The Forbidden City has moved to Hong Kong, just opposite the Kowloon Cultural Park. It is a relatively large museum. The ticket price is 70 yuan on site, which is almost the same as Ctrip in RMB. 1-7 are free, 8-9 are charged, and the whole museum is 150 yuan. I only visited the Forbidden City part, which also has many rare treasures. The whole exhibition hall took about three hours to visit. The staff were very polite and courteous, and they spoke fluent Mandarin. There is also a viewing platform on the second floor

No.12 of Best Things to Do in Hong Kong
Museums

Life is like architecture I am glad to see it before the end of the exhibition I am honored to listen to the guide of M+ volunteers I was surprised to find the traces of Pei's life in Shanghai: The former tallest building in Asia, the International Hotel The former St. John's University, a Chinese-Western combination of archways The East China Art Museum, which is full of creativity but has not been completed The Xiangshan Hotel, which is full of ambition but has many surprises … Although Shanghai has not left the works of this master architect, he advocated: Public spaces for interaction between people and the environment, Rejuvenated old city renovation, Intensive low-income housing design Fun-oriented art exhibition hall design … Deeply influenced the urban transformation of Shanghai It is very worth seeing Although 1/5 is about to end Special tips: Transportation: High-speed rail to West Kowloon, 10 minutes walk, But the exhibition hall is very different from that in China: 1-No free storage is provided, large luggage cannot be stored, and small luggage storage is 10 Hong Kong dollars/hour 2-No free drinking water is provided in the exhibition hall, and you cannot buy water or eat 3-If you have a backpack, you must carry it in front to protect the exhibits 4-You can take pictures, but you cannot touch the glass in the exhibition hall (all low-reflective glass from Germany, super expensive, but the Shanghai Museum has never demanded it of visitors) 5-The exhibition hall provides guided tours in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin at different times, and Mandarin is available at 3 pm Although it is a bit uncomfortable and you cannot drink water during the exhibition, there are indeed few people and it is very immersive. The West Kowloon seaside is also beautiful. I recommend this museum that is striving to become the best visual art museum in Asia
