It is an old castle of Champasak city, very beautiful, but should have a car to travel because it is 40 kilometers from Pakse. The temple has not been restored much, but it is considered complete. But some places have piles of garbage, which makes it lose its beauty. It is recommended to go in the winter or rainy season because in the summer it is very hot. Walking up the narrow stairs, must be especially careful.

The Four Thousand Islands in Pakse Province is also a famous tourist resort in Laos. There are three large islands inhabited by residents, which can provide tourists with various basic services such as food, accommodation, transportation and entertainment. The conditions and facilities are very simple, and the price is naturally very cheap, so it is deeply loved by European and American backpackers. The current season is cool and dry, which is most suitable for tourism. Of course, this coolness refers to the local temperature throughout the year. The Mekong River is also in the dry season. Nearly a thousand small islands, reefs, and sandbanks in the river are exposed to the water. They are of various shapes and beautiful environments. It is very suitable for boat sightseeing and island tours. If you don’t want to move, you can sit by the river for a day to enjoy the breeze and drink tea.

The weather is good and cool all year round and is very high above sea level. It is the largest Kafe garden planting place in Laos.

Long Temple is the most beautiful and oldest temple in Base. There are not many tourists here. The little monk can speak simple English. There are Buddhist schools here. There are many students. They are all local Base children. You can watch Busch in the morning.

Visiting the Golden Buddha in Pakse was a truly enriching experience. Climbing up to the site (it was quite tiring to be honest), I was awe-inspired by its grandeur and serenity. As the day drew to a close, witnessing the sunset from this elevated vantage point was nothing short of breathtaking, offering a picturesque view that painted the sky. It was a moment of tranquility and beauty that will forever remain etched in my memory.
