Stayed here twice to go to Shanghai Disneyland. This hotel's location is perfect for those wanting to take a metro to Disneyland in the morning and back at night. You take the Pusan Road station for that. The hotel room itself was nice and comfy. I would say it is great for the price. Just note that the way the bathroom was built can seem a little weird and can be a bit small, especially for a big guy like me. Other then that, I would say, highly recommended.

Great option in the city center, close to several metro stations. Despite what may appear from the building's entrance, the room was really clean and comfy. We had a great view from the contrasting tall buildings to the shikumen in the area. The reception staff was really kind and helpful, and we managed to understand each other despite the language barrier.

The room is clean, tidy and comfortable. The two-bedroom layout is very suitable for family travel. We are a family of three and came to Shanghai for medical treatment and stayed for more than ten days. It is very convenient to cook, bathe and wash clothes. The room is independent and quiet. The landlord is very warm and enthusiastic, responds promptly, and solves all problems during the stay in Shanghai. The location is very good and the transportation is convenient. You can take bus 96 directly to Ruijin Hospital. Take-out can also be delivered in half an hour. There are small vegetable markets and supermarkets nearby. Kitchenware, tableware and electrical appliances are very complete. Comfortable experience!!!

Stayed for 4D3N. Super good location next to aeast Nanjing Station. If you have big luggage, please go to exit 2 as there is an upward and downward escalator. Exit 5 is closer to the hotel if you don't have luggage. The specky male staff at the counter was rather rude and relatively unfriendly when we first stepped in to inform that we have a booking for 3 nights. Instead of greeting or welcoming us, he immediately confronted us that check in time was only after 2pm. Well, we just wanna inform him that we are the guests and want to store our luggage with the hotel. But the FIRST impression towards the hotel was going down to the drain! They provide free luggage storing your luggage which is rather good but just leave it beside the lifts and the side of front counter. We were given a room on the fourth floor. The room was spacious and looked cosy. the room has a tv box with some old ancient movies or dramas. The bed was very cosy and comfortable. The room has a washing machine, stove but no kitchen utensils were given. You need to get yourself the toothbrushes at the registration counter during registration. The water shower pressure during our stay was extremely small. It was kind of frustrating as after a long day out and back to the hotel but without a good showering. The water pressure is not only small but the water temperature is also very unstable. Only on the last night of staying, the water pressure was ok. The hair dryer was also damaged when we wanted to make use of it. The dryer will get very hot and even can see some sparkling coming out but no air blowing out. The steps next to the tatami beds were not even. It is quite dangerous if you are staying with kids or elderly. The house keeping will come to your room to clean if you didn't ask not to, she will be very likely to throw away anything on the table that looks like rubbish to her Therefore, please do not simply put anything that you want on the table, otherwise it might get dumped away. Overall, the stay was considered pleasant if you don't need to deal with the front desk counter staff. I particularly like the tatami beds as it was very cosy and comfortable. I just felt not to wake up from the bed. There are plenty of restaurants around the hotel. Only a few footsteps away to Nanjing road and is very close to Waitan and even Yu yuan garden.
Shanghai Bund Yiwan Hotel

The hotel location is very convenience. Right at the Nanjing road, 3 mins walk to MRT and can walk to the Bund. Our room has 2 bed and 1 sofa bed which is very comfortable. The downside was the room has no sound proof. I can hear the family next room talked every single word. We cannot sleep at first night coz they have small party until late night. Ensure to lock the door as the main entrace to the building has no door and no security guard. Staff cannit speak English but we can communicate through google translator.

Changshou Road Commercial Area
Nestled in a bustling neighborhood, the hotel I recently stayed at boasted a prime location adjacent to a myriad of renowned establishments. Its proximity to famous restaurants, department stores, a charming bakery, and the convenience store, Family Mart, offered unparalleled accessibility, adding a layer of convenience to my stay. Restaurant is next to the hotel that we recommend. **Location:** The hotel's setting was a traveler's dream, situated within arm's reach of gastronomic delights and retail therapy. The nearby famous restaurants served delectable cuisines, the department store offered a diverse shopping experience, while the local bakery's aroma enticed passersby. The adjacent Family Mart catered to every immediate need, enhancing the convenience of our stay remarkably. **Bed Bug Incident:** Regrettably, the comfort of the stay was marred by an unexpected encounter with bed bugs. The discovery of these pests in the bed was disconcerting, causing a disruption in an otherwise pleasant experience. However, upon reporting the issue, the hotel promptly responded and took necessary measures, exemplifying their commitment to guest satisfaction. **Hotel Condition:** While the hotel bore the marks of age, it exuded a sense of cleanliness and maintenance. Its older structure, though showing signs of wear, possessed a charm that hinted at a bygone era. The cleanliness of the facilities was commendable, despite the evident antiquity of certain elements. **Recommendation:** In conclusion, despite the unfortunate encounter with bed bugs and the hotel's aged appearance, I would recommend this establishment. Its cleanliness, coupled with the prime location near renowned establishments, presents an attractive choice for travelers seeking convenience and accessibility. With improvements in pest control and perhaps some renovations to rejuvenate its aging infrastructure, this hotel has the potential to provide an exceptional stay experience.

I think i was the first international traveler staying at this hotel, my pinyin is very basic, but with translation apps we could figure each other out. Just make sure with checkout you do not pay extra, because i already paid for everything including 12 nights , extra breakfast for 12 nights at arrival, the taxes and fee by check in with cash. Ask for a receipt note if possible. In China there is always everyday someone else at the receptionist. So there can be confusion. Toilet after 5 sheets, you must flush otherwise it will get clogged. noisy thin walls, but what hotels don't have thin walls, i could sleep well enough. I would skip the breakfast, it was more basic chinese food and almost everyday the same. I would suggest to give the chef more budget to buy some fruit, because i have only seen 1 time fruit. As a international traveler and for the local travelers including childeren we all like to have a fresh healthy breakfast, we all are willing to pay more for breakfast if the chef can have more passion instead of riceporridge, egg, dry bread, steamed bun, dumpling, vegetable bun, stirfry vegetable etc. I know for 15 yuan breakfast you cannot exept too much, shanghai is expensive. I am pretty sure that almost everyone is willing to pay 5 yuan more so that even for once we can see some fresh baked potato's or some stir fried rice. Everyone is friendly, but you need to know basic pinyin. I got a nice big hard bed that is good for your back with small window and big led tv including own bathroom. Its very clean. The hotels bed sheets replace once 2 to 3 days, this a good thing, because its better for the nature and saves water usage, energy and detergent. This hotel is better than a hostel, its somewhere between a high star hotel and a normal hotel. For solo travelers with basic pinyin i would recommend this hotel, but make sure you make picture of the cash payment and ask for a receipt note etc.

Thank you for letting me check in early (around 7AM)! I stayed on the main floor since it was an immediate availability, otherwise the other floors wouldn’t be available until 14:00 (with windows… btw no elevator if you have a lot of luggage). I was only in Shanghai for less than 24 hours… It was my first visit since 1996.05 (over 28 years ago)!!! Regardless, the staff was friendly and helpful. They set me up with the floor WiFi after gathering my reservation details. They also asked me if I needed more bottled water since it was hot outside. The location was also convenient (Century Park station) since I made sure to book a place that was closer to Line 2 (convenient to-from PVG Airport and into the city center). 太感谢了! ~Marsha

Certainly, here's a hotel review without mentioning the hotel's name or the city: --- **Rating: 4.5/5** I recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful hotel in China, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. **Location:** The hotel is conveniently located in a vibrant area, just a short walk from major attractions. The surrounding area is bustling with shops, restaurants, and cultural sites, making it an ideal spot for tourists. **Rooms:** The rooms were spacious, elegantly decorated, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the view from the window was breathtaking. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of keeping everything spotless. **Service:** The service at this hotel was outstanding. The staff were courteous, professional, and always ready to assist with any request. Check-in and check-out were swift and efficient, and the concierge provided valuable recommendations for exploring the area. **Dining:** The hotel’s restaurant offered a wide variety of delicious Chinese and international dishes. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, featuring everything from traditional dim sum to Western favorites. The quality of the food and the service in the restaurant were top-notch. **Facilities:** The hotel boasts a range of excellent facilities, including a well-equipped fitness center, a relaxing spa, and a beautiful indoor pool. The conference rooms and business center were also very well-maintained and convenient for business travelers. **Overall:** My stay at this hotel was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of luxurious accommodations, superb service, and an unbeatable location makes it a perfect choice for anyone visiting. I highly recommend it and look forward to my next visit. ---
