Nuno was awesome!

Nuno helped me super quick with my server problems. managed to get my stuck server restarted as well as get me upgraded to double my old ram with the discount i had before when i purchased the server. I am very happy with the service i received, as it made sure i still got what i was getting before but even better. I really appreciate Nuno for getting me back to where i was, with more! quickest support i've recieved.

Give Kian a raise

Kian. I love Kian. Promote this man. Give him whatever raise he wants. I have been severely annoying to this person over the course of the last week. My wife and her friends are ravenous to get this certain mod pack put out by a group of streamers. It didn't have a server pack and Kian was very patient and actually went the extra mile to install it for me even though I had already tried and done it horribly wrong. That's not even to mention that this is the second, maybe third time, I have harassed him this week about different stuff. For one, I can't believe he actually got it working. Secondly, I can't believe he went through the trouble to manually go do it himself. He could have easily said "Sorry champ, we don't do that here." but he went the extra mile and I really appreciate that.

This company took me (an IT imbecile)…

This company took me (an IT imbecile) through the VERY EASY steps to setting up my 1st server. Holding my hand and walking me through the process of each
decision with regards to server function. The staff are ALWAYS there! ALWAYS friendly, polite and understanding and incredible at their jobs. You'll have a very hard time finding an equal alternative, Thank you Shockbyte <3

Live chat responded quickly and fixed the server. Unfortunately, it had been down for almost 10 hours, when the ticket system wasn’t resolving the issue. Live chat fixed it, quickly, and I appreciate it so much! Thank you!

Great Expirience

All issues where fixed quickly. The support agent was knowledgeable in the field and fully understood was the problem was and what i was referring to. They were helpful and nice.

I dont even own a server

I dont even own a server, but am thinking about it. After reading all these negative reviews from recent i wouldnt even think about shockbyte. there are way better providers out there

Great Support from Kian

Kian quickly solved my problem of my minecraft server being stuck in a restart loop for over 10 hours. He stopped the server and it was fixed within 10 minutes. Very nice guy!

sent in multiple support tickets even…

sent in multiple support tickets even paid for 1 to get fast tracked and nothing was resolved my server has been stuck transferring for hours now and still nothing dont waste your money here

Support / Service Review

Support is friendly but slow, no human response within 5 days, tried this instead of GSK or Tempest (dedicated) for one of our development servers on a network, been about 14 days, they still can't get the server online and only responses from AI that haven't been trained with the system.

From a system point of view, they are one of the best offering much more options without going bare metal, however navigating the screens can be complex, when your used to your own systems.

Personally wouldn't use again, however with the demand of being official partners of Facepunch I can see why support is slow, however if I used this to host 'live' servers I would be sending a letter with a bill of loss.

WARNING!

WARNING!

I rented a rust server for mye girlfriend and I to learn on. As we were only 2 players, we got the cheapest package. How silly of us. Within the first week, the server crashed daily-- asking for more ram. So we upgraded.
Then it asked us to migrate the server from Netherlands to Germany, so I did. Server total crash, lost all saved gameplay.

Contaced support, but to no help. They sent me some copy/paste answers, one of them even suggesting there's something wrong on my end.

Tries to cancel my sub, where they again start an argument to keep me. (Their response was copy/paste)

Rent at your own personal and emotional risk!

Jacob H was incredibly helpful today

Jacob H was incredibly helpful today. I am new to server hosting and he walked me through how to add server passwords. Where others would tell you what to do and leave the chat, Jacob suggested we remain in the chat until we verify everything is working. I will host all of my servers on Shockbyte now that I know the customer service is so great!

Had some trouble using the installer…

Had some trouble using the installer for a certain mod pack so I used live support and Jacob was able to manually add the mod pack to my server and it didn't take long at all. Thank you Jacob
