RACINE, Wis.—Racine County sheriff’s authorities say one person has died and five others have been injured in a crash on Interstate 94.
The accident closed the southbound lanes of the interstate for several hours Friday morning.
Investigators say a disabled vehicle, stalled on the interstate, was struck by another vehicle. A passenger in that vehicle was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
Five others were taken to area hospitals. There’s no immediate word on their conditions.
