MILWAUKEE (AP) — Flags are flying at half-staff across the state for a Wisconsin airman killed in Afghanistan.
Twenty-one-year-old Airman Quinn Johnson-Harris was a 2012 graduate of Homestead High School in the Milwaukee suburb of Mequon. Johnson-Harris was among 11 people killed Oct. 2 when an Air Force C-130 crashed at a base in Afghanistan.
His memorial service is set for Saturday at Christian Faith Fellowship in Milwaukee. Gov. Scott Walker ordered flags lowered to half-staff for the day to honor Johnson-Harris “for his service anmd dedication to his country.”
Johnson-Harris will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia on Nov. 2.
