The new JW Marriott in the Mall of America expansion now under construction will feature an upscale restaurant focusing on a seasonal menu with East Coast and West Coast influences.
The restaurant, to be called Cedar + Stone, Urban Table, is set to open in November (as is the hotel).
Executive chef Everton Clarke has worked at Marriott properties around the world for two decades. A news release promises the menu “will focus on artistically presented cuisine highlighting seasonal produce and regional meats and cheeses. The menu is inspired around Minnesota’s natural roots and will include items that fuse cultures while utilizing ingredients sourced within 200 miles.”
The bar will pour Surly beer and regional spirits.
