Emily Rekstis is a New York City-based style and beauty editor at Us Weekly. After serving as a beauty assistant at Harper’s Bazaar and Self magazine for two years, she became a full-time freelancer writing for publications like Glamour, Women’s Health, BuzzFeed, The Cut, Fashionista and many more. She even recently dipped her toe into the theater world, writing and producing a play. When she’s not testing out the latest beauty trends or writing about personal experiences, you can probably find her watching reruns of Planet Earth, listening to Simon & Garfunkel or reading a book that’s likely based in NYC.
