Anna Wintour entered the fashion industry world in 1970 when she was hired as an editorial assistant at Harper’s & Queen. In 1975, she moved to New York City to take over as junior fashion editor at Harper’s Bazaar and later held positions with New York Magazine, British Vogue and House & Garden. Wintour has been editor-in-chief of Vogue since 1988, overseeing spinoffs Men’s Vogue, Vogue Living and Teen Vogue. She assumed the position of artistic director for Condé Nast in 2013.
