Ashley Iaconetti
Before being introduced to Bachelor Nation in 2015, Ashley Iaconetti grew up in Virginia and earned her Bachelor’s degree in-state at James Madison University. The podcaster subsequently went to New York to earn her master’s degree in broadcasting and digital journalism at Syracuse University.
Iaconetti became a reality star when she appeared in The Bachelor season 19. She competed for Chris Soules‘ heart alongside Ashley Salter, leading to the nickname Ashley I. Though she didn’t win, the journalist returned to ABC to cry several more times on national television for the second and third seasons of Bachelor in Paradise.
She was also the first winner of The Bachelor Winter Games along with Kevin Wendt in early 2018. The pair left the show as a couple, but the romance quickly fizzled after filming wrapped with Iaconetti in California and Wendt based in his native Canada.
She met her future husband, Jared Haibon, on BiP season 2, but their romance didn’t work out at the time nor did it last when they tried to make it work in season 3. However, they confirmed in in May 2018 that they had reunited. They got engaged a month later during a guest appearance on BiP season 5.
Iaconetti and Haibon married in August 2019 at a Rhode Island ceremony surrounded by several of their fellow Bachelor and Bachelorette alums. They welcomed their first son, Dawson, in January 2022.
In addition to her reality TV appearances, Iaconetti has put her journalism training to use as a correspondent for Access Hollywood and ClevverTV as well as a contributor at Cosmopolitan. She hosts a Bachelor-centric podcast, “The Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast,” with Ben Higgins as well as a lifestyle podcast, “I Don’t Get It,” sister Lauren Iaconetti and former Bachelor producer Naz Perez.
