Bristol Palin
Born in October 1990, Bristol Palin is the oldest daughter of former Alaskan Gov. Sarah Palin.
Bristol made headlines in September 2008 when her mom announced three days after her Republican vice-presidential candidacy that the teen was five months pregnant and was planning on getting married to the father of her child, Levi Johnston.
The couple’s child, Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston, was born in December 2008. As a result of her pregnancy controversy, Bristol has become an advocate for abstinence and is against teenage pregnancy.
Although they called off their engagement two months after Tripp was born, Bristol and Levi reconnected while working out a custody plan for their son and briefly reunited in spring 2010 before calling it quits for good.
In August 2010, it was announced that Palin would compete on Season 11 of Dancing With the Stars; she finished in third place behind Kyle Massey and Jennifer Grey.
