Jesse Williams
Jesse Williams portrayed Dr. Jackson Avery on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy from 2009 to 2022. He also appeared in The Cabin in the Woods (2012) and The Butler (2013). Williams provided voice acting for the character Markus in the video game Detroit: Becomes Human (2018) and served as an executive producer of the Oscar-winning short Two Distant Strangers (2020). The actor also produced and starred in the Broadway revival of Take Me Out, earning a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actor in a Play in 2022.
Williams was previously married to Aryn Drake-Lee from 2012 until their separation in April 2017. The exes, who finalized their divorce in October 2020, welcomed daughter Sadie in December 2013 and son Maceo in October 2015.
