Joey King

Joey King began her career in a Life Cereal ad at age 4 and appeared in TV shows such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Entourage and Medium, and made her film debut in Grace (2006). At 9, she starred in Ramona and Beezus (2010) alongside Selena Gomez, later appearing in The Dark Knight Rises, Oz the Great and Powerful, White House Down and The Kissing Booth trilogy.

She debuted voice acting in Horton Hears a Who! (2008) and has voiced characters in Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs and Despicable Me 4. King earned Golden Globe and Emmy nominations for her role in The Act (2019), portraying Gypsy Rose Blanchard. In June 2024, she starred in A Family Affair with Zac Efron and Nicole Kidman.

King also appeared in several music videos, first starring in Taylor Swift‘s 2011 “Mean” music video and then appearing in her 2023 video for “I Can See You.” She also joined longtime friend Sabrina Carpenter in her 2018 “Sue Me” video.

King met director and producer Steven Piet on the set of The Act and began dating in 2019. They got engaged in February 2022 and legally married in August 2023. They had a ceremony in Mallorca, Spain in September 2023.
