Katie Holmes
Katie Holmes got her start in Hollywood in 1997 after being cast in Ang Lee’s The Ice Storm but is best known for playing Joey Potter on the teen drama Dawson’s Creek from 1998 to 2003.
Holmes found success on both the small and big screens, starring in The Gift (2000), Pieces of April (2003), Batman Begins (2005) and Thank You For Smoking (2005). She went on to star in Mad Money (2008), Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark (2010), Jack and Jill (2011), Miss Meadows (2014), Logan Lucky (2017) and Coda (2019) and portrayed Jackie Kennedy in the 2011 miniseries The Kennedys.
Holmes made her directorial debut in 2016 with the movie All We Had, which she also starred in. She did the same for 2022’s Alone Together and 2023’s Rare Objects and starred on Broadway for the first time in the 2008 revival of Arthur Miller’s All My Songs.
Holmes was engaged to Chris Klein from 2003 to 2005 before moving on with Tom Cruise. The twosome exchanged vows in Italy in November 2006, seven months after welcoming their daughter. Holmes filed for divorce from Cruise in 2012.
Us broke the news of Holmes’ relationship with Jamie Foxx in 2015, but the pair called it quits in August 2019. Holmes has since been linked to Emilio Vitolo Jr. and Bobby Wooten III.
