Lucy Liu
Lucy Liu grew up in New York City and attended the University of Michigan, where she majored in Chinese Language and Culture. It wasn’t until Liu landed the role of Alice in a production of “Alice in Wonderland,” that she decided acting might be for her.
Liu moved to Los Angeles, beginning with walk-on roles in shows such as Beverly Hills, 90210 and ER, as well as a cameo appearance in the critically acclaimed film Jerry Maguire. Next, Liu moved on to the hit series, Ally McBeal after writer David E. Kelley created the role of Ling Woo especially for her. Liu’s most recent film project, Kung Fu Panda, was released in summer 2008.
