About

Mark Ballas received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Choreography for his work as a professional dancer on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars in 2011. He appeared on the series from 2007 to 2022, earning three mirrorball trophies during seasons 6, 8 and 31. Aside from dancing, Ballas released his first solo CD, HurtLoveBox, in March 2011 and is a member of the duo Alexander Jean with his wife, BC Jean. He also portrayed Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys on Broadway in 2016 and Charlie Price in Kinky Boots in 2018.

Ballas married Jean in November 2016. The couple welcomed son Banksi Wylde in November 2023 after Jean suffered a miscarriage.
