Mauricio Umansky

Mauricio Umansky is a real estate mogul and reality TV star who has appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Buying Beverly Hills.

After marrying Kyle Richards in 1996, Umansky was laid off from his job. To make ends meet, both he and Richards got their real estate licenses in California. Umansky later joined Hilton & Hyland, the agency run by Richards’ brother-in-law Rick Hilton. Umansky left in 2011 to start his own brokerage, The Agency, alongside Billy Rose and Blair Chang.

Richards has been a star on Bravo’s RHOBH since season 1, which premiered in 2010, with Umansky and the couple’s daughters making frequent appearances. Together, Umansky and Richards share Alexia, Sophia and Portia. Richards is also mother to eldest daughter Farrah from a past relationship. Us Weekly confirmed in July 2023 that Richards and Umansky separated.

Alexia and Farrah both work on Umansky’s real estate team at The Agency, which was chronicled on Netflix’s two-season docuseries Buying Beverly Hills. Sophia joined as an intern during season 2.

Umansky is also the author of The Dealmaker, which was published in 2023, and competed on Dancing With the Stars season 32 with pro partner Emma Slater that same year. They were eliminated in October 2023.
