Orlando Bloom
Orlando Bloom’s acting career took off after he played Legolas in the Lord of the Rings trilogy from 2001 to 2003 (a role he later reprised in The Hobbit prequel trilogy). He joined another blockbuster franchise in 2003, Pirates of the Caribbean, starring as Will Turner opposite Keira Knightley and Johnny Depp.
Bloom developed a reputation for starring in major historical and adventure films with roles in Troy (2004), Kingdom of Heaven (2005), Elizabethtown (2005) and The Three Musketeers (2011). He then stepped away from film to focus on theater, making his Broadway debut in 2013’s Romeo and Juliet. Bloom starred on and executive produced the Prime Video series Carnival Row from 2019 to 2023 and starred in 2020’s The Outpost, 2021’s Needle in a Timestack and 2023’s Gran Turismo.
Bloom dated Kate Bosworth on and off from 2003 to 2006 before marrying Miranda Kerr in 2010. They welcomed son Flynn in 2011 before calling it quits in 2013. Bloom began dating Katy Perry in 2016. After a brief split, the couple got engaged in 2019 and welcomed daughter Daisy in 2020.
