Russell Crowe

Born in 1964, this son of movie set caterers was born in New Zealand before moving to Australia when he was a toddler. He first became known to American audiences when he starred in 1995’s The Quick and the Dead.

Following the success of the film, he appeared in 1997’s L.A. Confidential and 2000’s Gladiator, which he won an Oscar for in 2001. He was also in the Oscar-nominated movie A Beautiful Mind.

He has dated actresses Meg Ryan, Heather Graham and Jodie Foster. He has been married to actress Danielle Spencer since 2003. The couple has two children.
