Swizz Beatz

Best known as Swizz Beatz, Bronx, N.Y. native Kasseem Dean is one of the music industry’s most prolific producers. Beatz comes from a musical family — his father founded Terrence Dean Entertainment Management; and his uncles started Ruff Ryders Records — so it’s natural that his resume includes being a rapper, CEO of Full Service Records, United Nation’s Music Ambassador for World Peace, and entrepreneur. The performer has lent his producing talents to projects for T.I., Eve, Britney Spears, Beyonce, and more.  He’s released two albums, One Man Band Man and Haute Living, and is in the works on his third studio effort.

Proposing to singer Alicia Keys with a 7-carat sparkler on her birthday in 2009, Beatz wed the singer in an intimate ceremony in 2010 at a private home overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

Beatz and Keys share son Egypt. The music producer has three children from previous relationships.
