After a successful career as a real estate broker in San Diego, California, Thomas Jacobs competed on season 17 of The Bachelorette. He was eliminated during the third rose ceremony after Katie Thurston started to fall for Jacobs and several of her other suitors claimed that he was manipulative and only on the show to become the next Bachelor.
After his brief tenure on the Bachelorette, Jacobs appeared on season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise. He sparked a connection with former Bachelorette Becca Kufrin. However, the Minnesota native eventually broke up with Jacobs shortly before the season concluded.
The pair ultimately reconciled, confirming their reunion in August 2021. Kufrin proposed to Jacobs in May 2022. The twosome got married in October 2023, several weeks after welcoming their first baby, son Benson, nicknamed Benny.
